My very old boiler finally packed up at 7am on the 8th of November. By 11am that morning an engineer had called to assess the situation and quote for a replacement. The full quote was received one hour later with a promise that the new boiler could be replaced the very next day - unbelievable, I was expecting to have had to wait days if not weeks. Amazing service!

The two plumbers who came to replace the boiler were courteous and polite, efficient and tidy.

I had a replacement dishwasher delivered which I had ordered to be fitted and the old one recycled. The delivery driver could not carry out the fitting as the water tap connection was damaged and leaking. I telephoned B & K in the afternoon of 28th February and at 10 am on the 29th their plumbers arrived and quickly and efficiently solved the problem, unpacked the new dishwasher, connected it and tested, and very kindly removed the old machine to the front drive for it to be recycled. These two plumbers were so kind and helpful I would like to express my thanks for how they helped me going over and above what I thought was the job. I have had several occassions to use B & K and they will always be my first contact in need. Thank you.

Our Boiler broke on the 20th December! B and K attended quoted for a new one on the 21st and fitted it on the 22nd ! with 2 children under 5 and looking at a very very cold Christmas we are so grateful for B and K for being able to act so quickly!

The men that fitted the boiler were super friendly, and Ann who has been the main point of contact has been very good on communicating times and lengths that they will be attending for!

We have been using B&K since we moved into a new build 17 years ago in which they had installed the boiler. Last month the time came when it became no longer economical to carry out the repairs necessary to keep it running. To say I had been dreading its replacement would be an understatement but I needn't have worried as the whole process was made as stress free as possible by everyone at B&K, from the very helpful ladies that answer the phone and deal with the admin, Matthew who came and carried out a site survey and recommended the best replacement option to Steve and Lewis who worked so brilliantly in fitting our new Ideal Logic and flue up and out through the loft.
Will continue to use them for our yearly serving, would definitly recommend.

I contacted B&K for a quote and Matthew came to the house discussed with us what would suit us and our house and we decided to go ahead with the installation. The team sent to do the work, Dan, Dylan and Jack worked well together, and kept us informed of what they would be doing. My husband was particularly impressed with Dans plumbing skills, all the pipes in straight lines and the joints neat. Lewis and Dac arrived Friday to help with the radiator fitting. At the end of each day our house was left tidy with old fittings etc taken away.
We are very pleased with the end result and with all the staff from B&K from start to finish, very polite and friendly.

We had a new boiler installed in September 2023 and service was excellent. Clean and tidy, professional job. Cannot fault work. We have used B&K Boilers for many years and never had any issues. Can happily recommend.

B&K installed the boiler in my first house in 1984 and have been my choice of boiler service company ever since. They are just the right size of company to give responsive, cost effective, quality installation and service. They have just saved me from a very cold 2021 Christmas when my boiler died the week before. They fitted me in at short notice and the system upgrade to a modern combi was neatly installed in 3 days now my house is warmer than it has been for years. Hamish (and his apprentice) ensured that I at least had running water and the electric shower was usable during the work. Highly Recommended.

B&K were able to install one week after we accepted their quote. They removed our old combi boiler and replaced with a modern Ideal combi boiler including Halo RF thermostat. The work was completed in less than a day.
The engineers were friendly, talkative, efficient and worked very cleanly within our apartment, covering the floor before starting work.
I used B&K after being recommended them by word of mouth and I would certainly recommend them to anyone else going forward.

If the industry were to provide academy awards then B and K would without doubt be awarded an Oscar. At very short notice, B and K provided, what I considered a fair and reasonable written quotation to remove and install a boiler in a second floor flat based on emailed images I sent them. They installed the boiler within two days and at the very last moment stepped in and arranged a supporting subcontractor when my contractor failed to attend. Exceptional customer service, excellent work ethic - all within budget.

We have been having problems with our underfloor heating and Simon from B&K came round to check the problem. He quickly found the mixer valve was not working properly and soon had it fixed. He was very through and we were impressed with his pleasant disposition. I have used B&K for the last 7 years and have always found them excellent.

Boiler problem just before Easter Break but still they managed to get it seen too. Mr Pullen was amazing, he examined thoroughly tracked problem down and resolved it for me and then checked that the rest of the system was all OK. He was polite, very knowledgeable and thorough. Have used this firm for many years and have never been let down yet. Thank you once again.

First time having used B&K Boiler Services and cannot praise them highly enough. Having been recently badly let down by British Gas they were helpfulness itself, responded to our call for help very promptly. I have had my boiler serviced by B & K for several years now so I didn’t hesitate to request them to give me a quote for a new wall mounted boiler instead of an annual service on a very old functioning floor mounted boiler. I was given a very competitive quote by Matthew after he carried out the survey, so after I emailed an acceptance, I received a telephone call on the same day that they were able to start the installation on the following day. Steve and his apprentice arrived on time and carried out the installation which included bricking up the wall where the outlet was for the old boiler. The electrical work required was carried out by Ivor who replaced my consumer unit just over two years ago. The whole installation was carried out to a high standard and I strongly recommend using this company.

I wanted to use a local business and I’m so glad we did, B&K Boilers were great right from the start with a full site survey and they planned everything. The engineers are brilliant, kept us updated along the whole job, a big job as we had our new boiler installed in the loft. We would 100% have no hesitation in recommending B&K!!

Quite brilliant service as compared with British Gas' offering. Came out within minutes of call to boiler breakdown (British Gas wanted us to wait 10 days without heating even though we have a service contract!). Identified problem within 30 mins. Said they would come back 3 days later to fix, but actually came 2 days later - that's service - and all fixed within 1.5 hours.

After a woeful experience with British Gas which left me with a Condemned Boiler and no support, despite a Homecare agreement, I contacted B&K for a second opinion and to quote for a new Boiler.

Ultimately having B&K replace our boiler was the best decision I have made all year. The install team have certainly set the bar for the standard I expect from any other engineer coming to my home to install anything in the future. They were polite, punctual, neat and tidy, knowledgeable but most of all took great pride in their work.

The friendly and super efficient back office team at B&K also assured us that we had made the right decision.

I took great pleasure cancelling my British Gas Homecare agreement and hope to continue with B&K taking care of my Boiler and central heating going forward.
