Great pub didn't have food but lovely staff great service

This is an excellent place to come, the atmosphere is great, people talking, dancing and singing on karaoke. The whole team are friendly and can have a laugh. Definitely recommend.

Nice place although the last time we went in there was awful smell of stale cigarettes.
Few characters but that’s what makes any pub. Staff are really friendly and the beers are cheap what more could you ask for.
Also the ladies loos are always clean 👍
Would definitely visit again

So I attended hear today for my friends dad's funeral, I I'm Muslim so I don't drink,but the lady behind the bar said she would make myself and my wife a brew,this I found very helpful and made us both feel very comfortable, 30 mins later I was Approached by the lady that served me and she came over to ask us if we would like another cup off coffe or tea,so I have given a 5 star as the service was defo worth 5 stars,

A good pub which is always busy and bustling, TV screens for the football or racing. A decent sized outdoor smoking area with screens. Definitely should be on your darwen drinking circuit

Service very good staff was very friendly and beer was excellent and at £2.60 was very good as lad at bar told me cheapest in Darwin.

Great pub, nice choice of drinks that are not too expensive and they put on a great stage set up for Darwen live. I'm going to try and get a gig there myself for next year's festival.

During darwen live festival I thought they got it right. Great bands, great atmosphere, you could get served both with food and drink, no idiots allowed in, just really enjoyed it both times I was in. My advice is have your own little music festival during August Bank holiday. Great.

1st visit since lockdown and I was well impressed. Ladies behind the bar were great, told me all I needed to know etc etc.
A good visit and the pint was as enjoyable as ever.

Fantastic pub with ace friendly staff.there is a brilliant out side area also.

Very reasonably priced beers and a quiet friendly atmosphere, the couple that run the place are both lovely happy ladies
