Shire Coffee at HWYL

We came in for breakfast/brunch. The Menu can be a bit confusing especially the hot drinks section as all are listed on a single line.
But besides that, the choice of food is fantastic and quality of it is superb. Really enjoyed our Christmas Hash and Welsh Rarebit.
The venue is very cosy and you are well looked after by the friendly staff.

Enjoyed my French toast with maple syrup and Welsh bacon. Lovely little cafe bistro. Nice attentive staff greatly appreciated. Cosy atmosphere and very authentic surroundings. Alot of effort has gone into creating this eating establishment. Well done.

Great coffee and lovely ambience. Only the second time I've been in here and will be returning without a doubt. Good food without the fuss. I've probably walked past this place a hundred times without going in. Met a friend who suggested here and I just thought ' Why have I not been in here before!'. Llanelli needs more of this. Don't do what I did, walk in and grab a coffee ☕. You'll love it.

Dear CHRIST, this place was great. The food was incredible, the staff were mondo lovely, the decor was really comforting. I mean, honestly, even the toilets made me think '...this is a NICE PLACE.'

So, in short, I love this place more than anything. The context of this statement is that I DO ACTUALLY HAVE KIDS and they absolutely come below Hwyl in the pecking order.

The best place for coffee in all Llanelli, anyone into their coffee needs to go. Staff are lovely with a relaxed atmosphere and the food is done to a really high standard 👌 I can only say good things about this place!

Amazing coffee and amazing people! There’s always a great atmosphere when visiting. Whether I’m there for a business meeting or out for coffee with my wife. The guest coffee is always a winner for me and dog friendly too! There’s always a warm welcome from the team when I visit.

Staff welcomed us on walking in! All staff were superb, cheerful, and helpful! Especially Caitlin who sat us down and served us our food with a smile so bright it would put the sun to shame. She was absolutely tremendous from start to finish and even came to check the food was okay. The food itself was also fantastic, with no long waits (unlike most places), and freshly cooked. We will definitely visit again and would 100% recommend to a friend. Best breakfast & staff in Llanelli, no doubt!

Best cockles and laverbread (traditional Welsh delicacy) I've ever had. Cooked with bacon and chillies and served on sourdough bread. Mae hi'n blasus iawn, wel lwsh!

Friendly staff, tasty food and great coffee. They are dog friendly and support other local businesses by displaying their merch. All round great place

Delicious coffee, this is how coffee should be made! Not burning hot milk. A nice warm coffee so you can taste the flavour and drink it at a leisurely pace. The cakes and food look great, staff are very friendly too. There are local jewellery makers items for sale on the front desk and the whole interior is so lovely. This is the best place in the centre of Llanelli for coffee, hands down.

Stunning place to go and have a coffee or something to eat. Me and my partner came across it completely by accident but we were so glad we did. The food was delicious. The coffee was excellent. Been looking forward to going back everyday since we went.

One of the best coffee shops in the UK. Coffee is spot on, food is spot on and the atmosphere is unmatched! For anyone complaining about costs, stick to cheap greasy cafes where you can get a breakfast and an instant coffee for £5.99.

This place is a gem, excellent food, wonderful hosts,fantastic service and a great atmosphere. Can't wait to work my way through the menu.
