Arcadia Sweetshop

First time visiting here since my Dad passed away, his favourite sweet shop and this particular visit brought back many fond memories of going with him to get a 1/4 of Jelly Babies, The shop hasn’t changed much since our last visit 20 years ago and it is proof memories can be found in places where time seems to have not passed at all, My Dad would be very happy that my wife and I visited, thank you for bringing such joyful memories back 😀

Having popped in today to order multiple bags of sweets for a party, the staff were fantastic. Helping us manage options for vegetarians and get everything we needed

I ordered 100 grams of white chocolate for vegan cost £1.00 and clotted fudge for three pieces cost £2.00 total £3.00.The lady was very friendly and talkative. Reminds me of the old days sweets where like as a boy. I will buy again. The lady was very helpful and understanding.

This is where you'll find all those sweets you loved as a child, the very polite staff also make it a great place to visit. Nostalgia in a bag of sweets.

Such a beautiful and well presented shop! The staff were lovely, and the kids were very happy with the sweets they got. So great to see and old fashioned style sweet shop.

I was waiting outside the shop for opening, the lady there that day opened the shop, invited me in whilst she turned off the alarms, etc., then proceeded to help me choose some chocolates & chatted away to me while the purchase was completed. All in all a very pleasurable experience.

Lovely sweetshop that feels very old fashioned in the way it looks and the wide variety of chocolate and sweets that they sell plus the staff are really nice and helpful.

Such a great shop with a fascinating history - it's continuously been a sweet shop since it opened in 1905. Overwhelmingly great selection - can't wait to visit again.
