Great place for timber and other supplies a prices miles better than the big chains.
I needed 100 x 22 x 2400 rough sawn timber to repair a shed. £8.97 in B&Q. Only £2.88 in JKM.
100mm x 10 metre flashband also much cheaper.
5 litre fence paint by Everbuild was pounds cheaper than the Ronseal product at B&Q but in my opinion is better giving a thick waxy coat to the timber.
I always enjoy good service and advice at JKM and really appreciate the cost savings.

If they don’t have exactly what you need off the shelf they can normally cut something to size. Good prices and friendly staff, really helpful. Far better quality of timber than the big name DIY stores as well

Always so helpful. Served today by the same person as last week when I bought some skirting. He helped me enormously by cutting it to size. 100% recommend.

What a great experience, it mainly caters for merchants (happily also welcomes the DIY crowd), as a DIYer i walked in with an issue, the staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. Even though they didn't have the product ( it's a product no one would stock, so i found out ) they gave a work around and also guided me to another company that does bespoke work.
Really impressed, gave me the needed facts ( that even the mighty internet didn't offer up ) and i didn't even buy anything,
A BIG thumbs up. 👍.

I'm a regular DIY'er and used to shop regularly in B&Q. Then I discovered JKM...The service is fantastic, all you do is wait your turn.
The guys help with all sort of tips and advice, plus you get a laugh as the atmosphere is so family orientated and very Customer focused.
I needed half a sheet of plasterboard once, and they just gave me it for free as it wasn't a full sheet!! Try getting service like that in B&Q.

Just had another visit to JKM. As I'm finishing off another project, and as usual, you get great service from the guys and help, followed up with some Advice on another project I'm considering. Sadly on reading one particular review posted by some disgruntled nonentity: Mike Pearsall Local Guide · Level 5 Your review will NOT damage this companies reputation, facts speak for them self and validate the fact that this IS a company supplying the trade and general public within the Paisley area with Good Customer care at it's very core. One nasty unfounded review has no credible value.

I have used JKM for several projects over the years and have always found their advice invaluable. All staff I have dealt with have been very knowledgeable and happy to spend time sharing that knowledge. They have made several doors for me and the quality is always excellent. I would highly recommend JKM to anyone.

Great service today went in for a small piece on mdf for a project that I needed to finish staff member couldn't have been more helpful price was great definitely will be going back.

You can go in there with an idea, and come out with the timber needed to complete the task, and the off-cuts if you want them. Great Service, and a smile
