What an amazing little shop. Such a cosy place on a cold day, plenty of space and a great selection of books. Coffee is really good. Will have to come back to try the bagels I've heard so much about

This is such a lovely cafe and bookstore. I took my 4-year-old and 7-month-old sons here and we really enjoyed it. My oldest son loved the children's book section and we bought a couple of books. They have a nice selection of cakes and bagels. I got a salmon and cream cheese bagel and a slice of pecan tray bake. Both were delicious! I highly recommend this place.

Everything we hoped it would be! The smell of books and coffee as we went in is what I imagine heaven will smell like. Food was delicious (and had vegan options), books were a good price and the atmosphere so cosy and inviting. Really you could spend hours there and it's a balm to the soul. An oasis in a hectic electronic world.
Reading some of the reviews I noticed people comment on not being able to get a seat. When we arrived there were no seats but the helpful staff just asked us to hang around for a bit and sure enough within five minutes we got a lovely freshly cleaned table. And to be honest in a book store its hardly a chore to be asked to wait. Gave me a great excuse to linger over the shelves and shelves of beautiful books 📚.

I absolutely fell in love with this place! I’ve been to so many bookstores in my life and I’m not exaggerating when I say The Book Nook is at the top of the list. It always brings me so much joy to step into women-owned bookstores because I know I will immediately feel so welcomed and happy, and that’s exactly how I felt the whole time I was there. The book selection might seem small for some people but I found it perfect and so very well curated. The special touches from the mystery books to the stickers and knick knacks sold at the store make the experience ten times better. Not to mention the wonderful cafe and the loooovely seating area filled with games and the most lovely set up I’ve seen!
I’m so sad I couldn’t spend the entire day at The Book Nook, but that only means I have to come back to Stirling as soon as possible 🫶🏻

Popped in with my daughter today and the staff were amazing. They took the time to answer questions and listen to what she was saying. She gave the hot chocolate and the Oreo brownie 10 out of 10 & the coffee was delicious too.

Beautiful decor and very festive for this time of year. Customer service was excellent. Vegan and I believe gluten free options available. Great place for a coffee with friends, to study or buy your next book to read. Highly recommend going!!

Lovely clean place with space for everyone to get round. Dog friendly with both comfy sofas and tables and chairs/benches. Loads of Preloved books in superb condition covering a wide range of genres for adults and children and the option to buy pre-wrapped surprise parcels. Yummy coffee and a range of bagels and cakes. Vegans nicely catered for.

Lovely book shop filled with varied genres and little treasures. Very calm atmosphere and staff are so friendly. I loved the free poems printed out to take and also received one with my purchase. Such a lovely touch. Can see a lot of thought has been put into this place.

We discovered this place recently and are big fans. We've not quite figured out the best time to visit to ensure getting a seat as it's clearly popular with the local student population, but enjoy the ambience. Good coffee.... amazing hot chocolate! And tasty bagels. A challenge to escape without buying a book!
