Castle Hotel

Visited here for breakfast on a Friday. The bar is clean and the staff were attentive and helpful. Two of the party had a regular breakfast, which was a nice sized plate of food and came with tea or coffee and I had a plate of smoked mackerel and poached eggs, which was done just right. We are always on the lookout for a nice place to have breakfast and will be definitely coming back here. Prices are reasonable as well.

A great selection of ales, lagers etc. Very friendly owners and staff. It has a beautiful looking, cosy interior too.
I don't know what the rooms are like because I live in Aberaeron and have no need to stay in the hotel part.

We had a great 2 night stay. It is perfectly situated for seeing everything in Aberaeron, doing surrounding walks and sight seeing along the west coast. We had a nice large dog friendly room on the first floor of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and adhered to the covid restrictions. The breakfasts were freshy cooked and very tasty. We also had reasonably priced drinks in the bar and the Staropramen was spot on. Would recommend.

Good bar food, a real ale available on hand pull, and leffe on draught - nice! I can recommend the beef Madras, comes with rice, small naan and mango chutney. The fish and chips looked good too. NOTE edited to point out that in Winter (September), food is not served in the evening.

Can't advise on rooms as I live locally, but new owners are very accommodating and are building a great atmosphere

The breakfast is incredible value - a quality full cooked breakfast (with decent sausages and extra thick bacon) plus you also get unlimited refills on delicious coffee. At time of writing all of this for £6.99 - would have paid £10.

Lovely hotel, really convenient location & gorgeous breakfast included. Lindsay is warm and friendly and a Credit to the hotel!

Good bar, dog friendly. Restaurant upstairs but never eaten up there because of dog. Food in bar good. Fish pie very creamy & cheesy just the way I like it.

My first time coming to aberaeron, beautiful place. The castle is a fantastic pub/restaurant and B&B. Beautiful rooms with en-suit very confitable beds, lovely sized twin rooms. Breakfast was very traditional Welsh full breakfast all local produce and at a wonderful standard. They included a vegetarian option also, with unlimited tea and coffee and juice. The staff are very friendly and welcoming can never do enough. For sure I will be coming back. Absolutely loved my stay here.

Nice place to relax and enjoy a hot or cold drink. Decent selection of local and popular beer, and a pleasant outdoor seating area just outside.

Great location. Staff were lovely especially the breakfast chef, very accommodating for dietary restrictions.

Went here for breakfast, we chose the Welsh Breakfast, well cooked, plenty of it, served quickly by cheerful people. The place is clean and pleasant to sit in. Will be going back...

Cosy place to have a drink, friendly atmosphere and staff. They offer hot drinks, food and alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices. Recommended for a group of people.

A great venue to visit during these times. Knew how to keep organised with distance and friendly approach was welcomed. Will definitely be visiting again
