Highly recommended....excellent food and very friendly staff. When ever I visit Cambridge again,
I will definitely be coming to Shelford Delicatessen.

Absolutely gorgeous produce... brought some wild mushrooms, wonderful spinach and sourdough bread.
So much more I could have brought and will do next time I visit.
Some one was having their coffee beans grounded as I was leaving and the smell was divine, great service to offer.

We booked the Deli for a 'private hire' Saturday evening dinner with colleagues and had a delightful evening. Everything was perfectly organized and we were well hosted so that everyone could enjoy the evening. The food was delicious, fresh, and of high quality. We want to thanks the friendly and welcoming Deli team for all their effort. We can just recommend this place for any 'private hire' events. Brilliant place.

Amazing place. Organic products in abundance. Fresh bread. Fresh produce. An absolute must place to visit and buy. Fresh baked sausage rolls and scotch eggs to die for. Staff so very friendly and helpful.

Superb place for light bites and coffee. Also has great selection of cheese, bread, veg and other delicious foods. Craft beer and wines also available. Nice out door space for the finer days. Quite pricey but for lunch very reasonable when compared to pub or restaurant

Really special deli with a wide variety of food and drink, regularly updated. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great eat-in café with log burner in winter and gorgeous enclosed garden in summer. The delicious meals are also available to take away. Cracking coffee too!

Love the Deli in Shelford. The wonderful array of fruit and vegetables are a picture book display, very fresh and seasonal. The almond croissants are amazing and the chocolate and raspberry brownies are a firm family favourite. Missing the cafe, but delighted to find pizza sold in slices at the weekend. Delicious.

Delicious selection of salads. Tantalizing selection of cakes. Delightful garden with plenty of seating. Lots of books and toys for kids to amuse themselves with and a sweet little playhouse in the garden that my son was sad to leave.

This place reminds me of the quintessential French bistro: you can rely on it to be good (really good) food, served with ease and you can bring a bunch of friends to enjoy conversation without worrying about slow service or stressful bills. Babies to geriatrics will love it! We like the courgette pizza, the warm penne, all the desserts and their signature summer milkshakes.

Amazing salad bowl of 4 nutritious and delicious options. Tomato and harrissa soup was fantastic...i really didn't need the big bowl and the big salad though! Staff were really pleasant and helpful.

Great food. Expensive but worth the money in my opinion. Cafe is a little crowded but I understand why they do that. There is also a garden out the back which is nice in summer.

All of the produce is beautifully presented, everything is laid out nicely with lots of choice in terms of cheeses, salad, cakes etc all pre-weighed and packaged so no interaction needed with staff. It felt very COVID safe and the checkout set up was really good too. Will defo give back.

A nice, bright and vibrant little cafe, tucked away in the village of Great Shelford. Excellent coffee and cakes, and a great variety of food, wines and beers. Great place for a foodie catch up with friends.

Lovely coffee, reasonably priced. The place has a nice relaxed atmosphere, not too busy but does a steady trade, mainly of locals it seems . Staff really friendly.

Possibly the best almond croissant I've ever had, keep going back for more.

Really cool little deli. Good range of products and the bakery produces some good stuff (including milk buns, which are surprisingly hard to find!)

Fantastic deli. Had their takeaway pizza tonight and it was brilliant. Also had a bottle of their hi lighted wine. All in all a great meal and will be back soon!
