Dinner meal was absolutely scrumptious! Service was impeccable and food was delicious - on par with Michelin star restaurants we have had the privilege to visit in the last couple of years. Particularly liked the cheese souffle to start, and the Herefordshire beef main was stellar. Wine and ambience great also. Highly recommend going here for a special occasion, and will be going back.

What a treasure this place is. From the cosy bar with the quietly brilliant cocktail list, to the extraordinary tasting menu, to the comfortable, elegant rooms and the attentive and friendly staff, The New Inn is a real gem in the Herefordshire countryside. I can't wait to go back.

We chanced upon the new inn while travelling back to Ross on Wye and were very pleasantly surprised. Superb food (even the bar menu), very friendly and attentive staff and a lovely atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend eating here.

Popped in for Lunch on my way back from Abergavenny. Often can be awkward eating alone (especially without a book), but the staff were super welcoming and sweet. Very comfortable atmosphere with fantastic food to top it off! Definitely one to remember!

Stopped for a quick drink en route to Kington. We both chose the local cider from Two Farmers and enjoyed both the berry and apple flavours.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
At the time we entered everyone else was leaving so we had the lovely beer garden to ourselves.

My Wife & I visited on our anniversary last week. The standard of food, service, presentation and decor was all of the highest quality. One of the waiting staff (dutch lady) was particularly excellent.

My partner and I went for my birthday meal last night. Omg the food was so amazing, haven't eaten anything like it in my life time. The staff was amazing and very professional and polite. Jess the front of house was so amazing always made sure that everyone was happy. Will recommend to all my friends and will be returning. Didn't stay the night but wish we did.

A last minute booking as we needed a place to stay for the night. Service exceptional. People friendly and down-to-earth. Food delicious, wine perfect, presentation excellent.
We stayed in the Hare, the bigger room with the bath and shower. Luxurious and comfortable. Absolutely beautiful. What I would possibly suggest to the owners would be to look into a way of blocking the street noice without damaging the character of the property and of the rooms and possibly into how to provide a cooler indoor room climate in the hot summer months. Nonetheless, an amazing result on all aspects of hospitality. Well done.

The food is great and the staff are so nice and friendly. The place is stylish and very clean.
My only complaint would be that as we stayed in a room next to a busy main road, I’d have expected double glazed windows as the noise is constant and gets annoying after a while. Perhaps they will upgrade soon.
Highly recommend though. 👍🏻

Lunch with seven family members in the beer garden. Excellent food, quality environment and exceptional service from a young waitress (Torri). My kids took me out for lunch whilst we’re on holiday in the area, if we’d have found this place earlier in our visit we’d have returned multiple times as it’s first rate, not cheap but good value for money!

Staff are super friendly, feely homely and food is out of this world! - We came back the next day for the Focaccia bread 😅

What a fabulous restaurant. Not only is the vibe of the Inn warm, inviting and classy, the service from the girls is top notch. Oh and we can't forget Chef's food. What a triumph. The food is exquisite, tasty and great value with January's lunchtime special of £20 for a fixed 3 course meal. Please continue this fabulous lunchtime option, as it's such great value. We will absolutely return. See you in May if not before. Thank you so much.

Visited for lunch with my son. Nice bar but the garden is nicer. As it was a fine day we enjoyed the sunshine. The food from the bar menu was excellent although I failed to finish my club sandwich. Fortunately my son didn't let it go to waste. Staff were very pleasant.

The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Can't fault the food, it's gorgeous and well worth the price. Good selection of drinks on offer. Very clean and relaxing decor. The room was very large and tastefully decorated while still having personality. Really loved this hotel.
