Cilpost Farmhouse Holiday Home

Wow… just when you think nothing could help you relax from your manic day to day life, you escape reality and you take a trip to this wonderful holiday home surrounded by nothing but serene views. This beautiful home is the perfect place to be “offline” and put your feet up in front of a warm cozy fire with a glass of wine! You can take a nice walk down to the lake or possibly even the beach (which isn’t too far away by car) and take a breath of fresh air, whilst you disconnect for a while. A big thank you to Jo for making us feel so welcome and giving us all a well deserved break!

If you ever want to get away to the countryside this is the place to be! Amazing farmhouse surrounded by beautiful scenery with ample of space. The house has many entertainment so no one is ever bored. The host Jo and Royston couldn’t have been more accommodating! Definitely would recommend to family and friends. :)

A home away from home, well equipped and maintained, courtyard, games room and heated pool add value to one's stay. Last minute shopping can be done on north road very close to the farmhouse. Rooms have ample space and all amenities in working condition. Last but not the least, Mr Roystone the proprietor is a gem of a person...friendly, helpful and a nice chap to have around. All in all, you'd never go wrong with picking Cilpost farmhouse as your holiday destination. 😀

Our stay at Cilpost farmhouse was amazing, 20 family members celebrating my 60th birthday and Easter, everything was perfect. Both Royston & Jo the owners, couldn’t do enough to ensure we had everything for our break.

The children enjoyed the heated pool, which was so warm, and if they weren’t in the pool they were in the games room, which had pool/air hockey, table tennis, velcro ball dart board, and connect 4. There was a stream at the bottom of the large garden plus plenty of walks in the surrounding countryside.

The bedrooms were comfortable and 5 had en suite’s plus a separate family bathroom. The kitchen had everything you need, plus two fridge freezers, two dishwashers , washing machine and a microwave. There was a large and small dining room, plus two lounges and a playroom.

An amazing experience we hope to repeat in the future.

A great place to stay. We had a family group of 13 and there’s room for lots more. Our friendly host Royston couldn’t be more helpful and the house was warm and cosy with clean bedrooms and bathrooms, and a large, well equipped kitchen. Great location for exploring South Wales or just chillaxing by the pool, which was nice and warm even in winter. Looking forward to a return visit in the summer!

We stayed here about 2 years ago, had an absolutely fabulous experience, 3 nights, slept 20 of us comfortably, excellent facilities at the house, very clean, huge kitchen with fantastic Aga stove, amazing dining room for 20+, 2 dishwashers, lovely spacious sitting and living rooms, beautiful pool, very accommodating hosts, no bother, would recommend highly and will be returning. A wonderful place for a largish family get-together. Swimming pool is tremendous - especially for the little ones (under supervision). Just a skip and a jump from lovely Marlock. Similar in the other direction to an inspiring modern church (ask the owners for directions to the Sunday morning meeting). Lots of lovely walks (Cromford canal is great - even if you've got mobility issues). A perfect place for refreshment in every sense of the word.

A great base for a large family holiday

Lovely owners, available but discretely distant unless required, great for a large family like us with many adults each getting an en suite, 2 min drive or 1 mile walk for train at whitland into Tenby etc for the adults, co-op same distance would recommend. Fairly central in Pembrokshire coast, most places within 25-30 mins drive eg Tenby, folly farm, big tesco extra in Carmarthen. Very reasonably priced, lovely swimming pool and rural location.

Really delightful place to be. Great kitchen and dining area, views and garden. Pool is a treat! Owners are so helpful and kind. Thoroughly recommend!

Amazing for family get togethers. Lovely location. Beautiful house that sleeps 24 . Heated swimming pool and games room.

Great location fab house pool outstanding only 30 mins drive to coast and all the attractions you can wish for definatly be back lovely hosts cant do enough for you
