Bryntysilio Outdoor Education Centre

We brought a group to Bryntysilio to enjoy a day of adventure and relaxation - and we had the most fantastic experience. Everything was organised incredibly well, the activities were fun, and Tabitha and Emma were excellent instructors, guiding us through everything informatively and safely.

And experiencing yoga and sound bath with Nicole on the lawn of their gorgeous summer village was a real treat. The perfect end to the day.

Dietary requirements were provided for. Lunch was delicious, healthy, filling. And the cake…

We’re very excited to come here again for a weekend retreat.

Spent a very enjoyable day organised by Wellness and Walking Holidays with canoeing, archery, yoga and relaxation. Friendly, helpful and professional staff, beautiful setting and a lovely lunch.

31st August Adventure day.
The cheerful and professional staff made my day at Brynticylio very enjoyable for the canoe and archery sessions in the morning. Thanks also to a lovely relaxing afternoon doing yoga and a sound bath as part of the day organised by Wellbess and Walking holidays.

Very nicely kept, fresh paint every where, gardens well looked after, kitchen and adventure staff all very pleasant and helpful.

Were most graceful about me setting the alarm off with my burnt offering. Could not ask for a better setting, views directly over the Weir at horse shoe falls.

Loads to do, adventures led by expert team. Mattresses maybe a little thin for adults but probably okay for kids, but not terrible either way.

Fantastic house, really elegant, many original features.

Love this place! The views are stunning. I have been several times with groups of school children. The staff are amazing and can't do enough to make the experience fantastic for the children and staff. In fact the teachers are usually queueing up to attend. I have also attended a birthday celebration weekend and rugby team weekends and all experiences have been Brilliant.
Our sons have also attended a scouting camp week on site too. They loved it!

What a wonderful place! 60 of us booked the whole venue for a weekend of outdoor activity. The activities were expertly led with lots of fun thrown in! We experienced a lengthy power cut but the amazing staff still managed to feed us all somehow. A truly great weekend. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had the pleasure of going to Bryntysillo with Year 9 pupils from a Secondary School in Walsall, around 1986. They were extremely well behaved and really benifited from the experience. So did I as it was a learning curve. I was able to paint watercolour & draw.the beautiful scenery in Langollen. It was fabulous. I donated my pictures to the Headmaster, at the time.
Such wonderful memories are held in my heart.🎨

Daughter had a wonderful time on all of the activities. Only issue was the very plain food and lack of ketchup 😁

Brilliant activities and massively improved in last year. All staff very hard working...gorge walking and canoeing my favourites. Sarah doing a great job leading! The new CEO of Wide Horizons clearly has a gem here and seems keen to develop Brynty further😉

Extremely fond memories of my time here in 1976 (?) with Brownhills Comp. The years which have passed are testament to the lasting impression of this wonderful experience. I can remember John and Alan who worked there and who helped make my Bryntysilio stay unforgettable.

Strange to return after all those years. Many memories of my school holiday there. It hasn't changed! Debbie made us all very welcome, afternoon tea with the Mayor and Mayoress of Walsall and the Town Cryer of Llangollen.

I remember my time spent at Brynty very fondly. I was probably only 12 (1983) it made a lasting impression on my life. I hope all kids get the opportunity to stay at this outdoor activities center, keep it up brynty!

Fantastic place for outdoor education and activities for ages from 8 plus. I'm 57 had had a great few days.

Great place to take your children to experience outdoor education. The tutors and new archery area are excellent!

Went there around 19 years ago when I was in year 7 at Darlaston community school, absolutely fantastic memories, great place 😊
