Popped in just for some coffee. Felt accommodated, despite not ordering food. Some places make you feel uncomfortable for just ordering drinks, but at Stir I felt like we were accommodated. Despite clearly arriving at the tail end of the lunch rush, we were seated and attended to quickly. 'Guest blend' (Blend of the month) was called 'Girls like to grind', which tasted great. Coffee is served at the perfect temperature to preserve the integrity of the coffee flavour. Could drink straight away instead of having to wait to cool down. This place also serves food, which looked good when being nosey of other people's plates. We'll definitely be back to try some form of brunch.

One of my favorite places in Cambridge (I even thought about investing but selfishly wish to keep it cute and homely).

201406 another nice 40-min morning walk to heaven. The Tuesday pastry deal is awesome.

The Uganda guest coffee is lovely. In the whole milk latte is mellow with notes of caramel.

The pain au chocolat is H-U-G-E! Better still, it is not just made with more layers— I’m amazed by the fluffy air pockets (secret proofing method or butter?). It is not greasy at all and not too sweet. It also has a nice balance of airier tops and denser core, which enables me to enjoy two textures (again not a fan of the dry flaky types).

Friendly staff, skillful baristas, relaxing space inside and outdoor for a rare summer day.

Best coffee <3 smooth and subtly sweet. Amazing.

Halloumi ‘Shroom has nice poached eggs, though the cheese can be grilled/seared slightly longer. The sourdough is fabulous. I actually first heard of this place as a bakery next door, but instead of ordering deliveries I decided to walk for 40 minutes to take a bite :> worth it. Perhaps I’ll come back soon, even just for the coffee.

(Sorry I was busy texting and didn’t take the picture right away. The foam was beautiful when I first saw it:)

Heavenly food - and so many (really tasty) healthy, nutritious options for breakfast. I just wish we had a Stir in Milan… 🩷

Had a tasty pear bostock. The waiter was very kind as I was recovering from dental surgery and gave me suggestions which would be softer for my palate. The coffee is good quality and they have a cosy atmosphere with lots of space.

My favourite place to eat in Cambridge. The service is fantastic even when it’s busy (hi Sabrine and Olga—legends!) and the food is delicious and beautifully presented by chef Liam and his team. Thanks for helping me to start my day off with a smile 😄

Thank you ‘Stir’ for possibly the best BLT I have ever had ‘Smashed avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato, with a drizzle of sriracha on a toasted sourdough bun – Truly Delicious. The Minty Green Glow juice was a revelation.
As we entered your premises on Chesterton Road, we were greeted with a big smile and served by a happy efficient member of the team. Wonderful Service, great food, great team. THANK YOU, I will certainly be coming back. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Great service and excellent food. Menu wasn’t clear around gluten options but after speaking with the lovely server, we were pleasantly surprised with their offerings. Highly recommended.

We had breakfast here on a busy Sunday morning, a queue formed by the time we left. We were lucky enough to be able to sit out in the sun, but inside seemed big and attractive too.
Service was steady ( was v busy as I said) but the coffee and food was great. All of us enjoyed our brekkie, would recommend.

Stir has very modern urban feel to the interior. Drinks here are fresh and have unique taste to it. Their bread is one of the best in Cambridge. Sourdough bread is a must try. Kind and tentative staff and the service from them is very lovely. Busy spot for brunch and their bakery sell out quickly so it helps if you are an early bird!

We come here every weekend for coffee and baked goods. Today I treated myself to the showcase (see picture) which I thought is a brilliant idea for coffee lovers and proof that God exists. Their babka is to die for, the cinnamon bun is amazing. It is usually busy, for a reason. I have seen some really nice breakfast/brunch options on others' tables. There is also the bakery next door which sells proper sourdough and other beautiful baked goods. If this one is too busy, you can try their other branches in Green St, in Histon and Fulbourn.

Stir is a great place to go to either in a gorgeous sunny day or a rainy winter's day. Has a decent menu selection and today I had a delicious and fancy BLT. Good value for Cambridge and a great location if you don't want to deal with the busy town centre. Staff are always super helpful. Highly recommended!

Such a lovely brunch spot! The halloumi shrooms and almond milk latte are my go to breakfast. They also have GF bread available for all your gluten intolerant friends 😊

Brunch here was amazing. Got sat within 5 minutes even at a very busy time of day (just before midday, midweek, during Christmas holidays), and then served pretty quickly.
Excellent communication from servers who told us the dish that wasn’t available as soon as she gave us the menus.
We ordered 2 Benedicts with salmon, 1 mushroom & halloumi on sourdough, and 1 BLT. Everyone was satisfied with the portion size and we were all making mmmmm noises as we ate ☺
Recommend this place!

We went for lunch. The food is excellent, coffee also great. It's always busy which means that there's a bit of waiting time for table/drink/food or all of these. Otherwise a great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch!

Certainly one of the best cafés and bakeries in Cambridge. The coffee is great, and importantly the food is fresh and delicious - it's all hand made.

It can be busy at times, but it's never a long wait and the staff put in a real effort to fit everyone in.

Great coffee. Food mid. The waitress serving me - Bea was so friendly and nice. I had a pleasant chat with her. Looked pretty busy that’s why I appreciate spending few minutes on me making sure I enjoy my visit and my coffee.

Quality of the food was really good! Service was impeccable and the general vibe was very chill.

Some areas of the cafe have a lot of natural light so you feel relaxed and energised too, would love to be back on a weekend for shakshuka as it’s not available everyday.

Stir is one of the best places in Cambridge for brunch. It's quite large for a cafe, which is good as it's super popular and you will see why if you ever visit this place. I ordered a coffee and the brioche stack, which is poached egg, bacon, avocado and haloumi in a brioche bun. Its all made fresh and the bun is from their bakery, they have a bakery next door. It all tasted amazing and the service was very quick. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. Would highly recommend this cafe, hope you enjoy your visit here
