My wife and I enjoyed a delightful night here on a foodie break. The two things that I believe set this place apart are the attitude of staff - literally nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to be friendly, welcoming and helpful - and the quality of the restaurant. We were really impressed with dinner, both service and food, and breakfast was really excellent. Food highlights included the scrambled eggs and salmon at breakfast and the lamb 'Wellington' at dinner, although I could go on and on and on...
The room we stayed in (Main Lodge, standard) was perfectly decorated. Others have mentioned the lack of air con, which is true, but the 'window' opens as a door and there's an effective fan in the closet, so I don't see a problem! We also enjoyed the lack of a television, encouraging us to use the beautiful outdoor area and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere with a glass of wine.
Special shout out to the lovely Gareth, friendly South African on Reception, who was a great conversationalist and very welcoming, although to be fair, so was everyone!

Absolutely incredible stay with Feldon Valley. From the very beginning to the end the staff were kind, helpful and went over and beyond. In particular the bar/restaurant staff did everything possible to make us comfortable, advise places to visit etc. The best thing was, no matter how many people they saw, they remembered what we had planned and asked specifically about our day. The food was fresh and there was not one bad meal time experience. Thank you for your service and hospitality for making our trip so memorable! We will be back!

If I could give Feldon Valley 10 stars, I would. It is an incredible place. It's the attention to detail. You feel important & valued from the moment you step into Reception. The information sheet in the room is addressed to you personally. Beautiful room with the comfiest of beds. Bathroom spacious & a Wet room. No bath, but I prefer showers. Home-made cookies to die for. A proper coffee machine in the room, as well as tea. A complimentary glass of prosecco. The restaurant menu is superb. Cocktails delicious. Staff professional, friendly but not intrusive. Everyone makes you feel valued. The grounds are beautiful as it has a golf course. There is a fitness room on site & Holistic therapies in a cute Shepherd's hut. I was only here overnight for a family occasion so couldn't take advantage of either facility, but I shall certainly be back. The price for this amazing place? It was no more expensive than other hotels in the area, but was far more superior.

Myself and a friend had a delicious Sunday roast today.
I had chicken and she had lamb. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Meat filled Yorkshire puddings are genius!
Staff were friendly and the views are great!
Many thanks!

Wonderful 18 holes of golf, preceeded by breakfast, and succeeded by late lunch. Lovely team, Piers was especially helpful. Beers in the sunshine with a great view. Can't ask for anything more.

Our experiences at Feldon Valley have become cherished moments. Each visit has been an oasis of relaxation and joy, thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff. They are consistently helpful and accommodating, ensuring our every need is met.

The hotel's location is a dream for exploring the picturesque Cotswolds, and the rooms truly exceed expectations with their generous space and thoughtful amenities. One delightful surprise was the addition of homemade biscuits in our room—a simple touch that made us feel truly welcomed.

The quality of sleep here is unparalleled, thanks to the plush mattresses and pillows. Waking up to the serene sounds of birdsong adds an extra layer of tranquility to the stay.

During our most recent visit, we stayed in Room 17, which offers a breathtaking view overlooking the lush golf course. Our previous stays were in the Lodges which are ideal for families or groups of friends. The Lodges are equally as relaxing and peaceful also with beautiful views over the golf course.

The dining experience at Feldon Valley is equally impressive. The food served in the restaurant is always fresh and delicious, with a menu that changes regularly to keep us excited to try new dishes. Another highlight is the breakfast selection, featuring a variety of hot dishes to choose from. The staff in the restaurant and throughout the hotel are exceptionally friendly and attentive.

A special thank you to David, Monica, Ranj, and the lovely reception team for making our stay even more memorable with their warmth and professionalism. We look forward to returning soon!

Fantastic little place nestled in the middle of nowhere. Service was amazing and we were looked after very well and they are super dog friendly! The staff and Lilly the dog on reception were great. And the restaurant staff at breakfast were also super helpful and the included breakfast was so good! Possibly the best veggie sausage I've ever had along with all the cold buffet selections I'd actually book again just for the breakfast. We booked a woodland lodge and was very spacious with a huge king bed. The bed is very firm though which was perfect for us. They provided two bowls and a bed for our pooch as well. Bathroom had loads of room and a great shower. No TV and it's so peaceful and nice to just switch off. I don't play golf but it looked like a good place to stay and play! Could also suggest this is a good location for cyclists as the lanes and climbs in the area are excellent.
My only gripe was some switches and lighting in the room didn't work and the floor was a little dirty but can imagine it's hard to keep completely clean when based in a woodland.
Wish we could have stayed longer and sampled the evening menu in the restaurant.

Played an away day golf tournament. Course was tricky to play with some clever par 3s. Great food for the post game meal

From the moment you arrive you see how beautifully smart the hotel is. You are greeted by the most down to earth, kind and genuinely happy staff. The walk way/ grounds are beautiful. It is genuinely one of the most dog friendly places I have ever stayed. The room is beautiful and clean and spacious. The food was outstanding. Me and my partner said multiple times you can tell the staff are happy working here. There is a really pretty walk around the golf course for your dog. The check in and out process was very easy. I would stay here over and over again

Such a fabulous stay for the weekend.
The rooms were perfect & very clean.
The staff went out of their way to ensure you were happy and satisfied.
Any profits that the hotel makes, are all donated to local charities.
Breakfast had such a selection, including vegetarian & vegan options.
Would highly recommend visiting here for a stay!

Our breakfast was sensational. The gluten free bread is homemade and is THE best I've ever tasted. Decaf coffee and hot milk perfect. The size and freshness of the raspberries! The little pats of local butter, I could go on and on! The ambiance is and the staff are brilliant

The rooms are a little basic when it comes to facilities but the view is beautiful. The shower has very low pressure. the lobby with the fireplace was really cosy. The food absolutely exceptional.
Overall the location is really lovely. The rooms need a little bit of work

The hotel is situated in a lovely area, and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast was excellent, offering a large variety of food, and there were plenty of activities to enjoy. The only issue I encountered was the room temperature, which was considerably hotter than the normal temperature.

The course is in excellent condition and the facilities are second to none.
Only disappointment with the hotel room is that there is no air conditioning so room was very hot.
Restaurant service was brilliant, except they were out of peas to have with the fish and chips, and out of smoked salmon to have with the scrambled eggs at breakfast. Very surprising.
Nevertheless we shall certainly visit Feldon Valley again

One night stay for our anniversary! Staff in the hotel couldn't do enough for us even placing a card in our room and giving us a complimentary prosecco, the lodge is very sweet and the grounds are very peaceful.

The lady on reception, i believe possibly from south africa is an amazing asset to your team!

We had dinner on site at the Kitchen and it was really nice, packed full of flavour and cooked to perfection! Breakfast was to match, the views from our seat were also beautiful, definitely will be recommending and also returning.

*The only thing id change is the view from the lodge, i would have preferred to face the golf course and enjoyed the sun instead of shade.

Thank you again!

Went to Feldon Valley for a double birthday getaway, it was at a slightly remote location away from any towns and thus giving a peaceful and quiet evening even when outside. Car park is always a major variable for my location review and the amount of vacant free parking is brilliant for those that worry about others "dinging" my car. Yes I am one of those that park their cars at the furthest car parking space at supermarkets etc.
The lodge reception were very friendly and helpful especially the man working the night shift who accommodated our request for a late firepit he showed no signs of displease. However, a slight disappointment is the lady at "The Kitchen" whom was working the breakfast shift, the attitude and tone in the voice was condescending along with the less than welcoming facial expressions. Though I understand everyone could have a bad morning even if they work in the hospitality sector. The offset was that the breakfast food was great and of great standard.
The room was great as expected but the cherry on top was the additions of cookies on the tea tray and the complimentary prosecco.

We had a fabulous time at Feldon Valley, from the staff at check in to the staff at dinner and breakfast - this place is a hidden gem! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the beds were soft and the amenities are lovely, tea, coffee, biscuits and lovely towels and robes. I was quite cold in the night but no fear, there was a portable oil radiator already in the room and it did the trick perfectly. Our little dog also loved it and the staff were fabulous. The only thing was they don’t serve dinner in the restaurant on Sunday evening and we ended up getting a take away to bring back, all of this was absolutely fine and we knew in advance but what would make this place perfect is room service! Otherwise, this place is amazing and I cannot wait to come back!

Just got back from a week at Feldon Valley with our dog and we had the most amazing stay. So dog friendly, in such a great location and the staff are SO helpful in letting you know great places nearby to visit - especially Ranj who wrote us an entire list.

The food at Feldon Valley is also amazing, we will definitely be returning!
