Mitchells Farm Shop

Really good farm shop. Lots of nice fresh veg and fruit, but also bread, cakes, frozen foods and lots more. Convenient location, with it's own car park.

I originally went in to get some nice fresh local eggs and I was not disappointed at all. The eggs I got were a gorgeous red/brown and bright orange yolks. I made a cake with these for my stepson. I also found that this shop has a great range of Wilkin & Son's Tiptree jams/preserves! Also lovely freezer section with very delicious looking ready meals, fruit pies, desserts etc. I also found delicious cupcakes sold separately that are all unique so you can literally buy 6 different ones! I could easily spend a lot of money in this wonderful farm shop. Also within an easy distance from the Greenstead side of Colchester.

What a great shop i loved it the stuff they sell is great ,freezers full of nice stuff prawns pastries n loads of stuff definitely worth a visit

Wow what an amazing little gem. The shop is bigger than it looks, and the fresh fruit and vegetables are beautiful. Fantastic choice of pies and frozen products too. Highly recommend. Loved it, will definitely be back.

Love this shop. Traditional meats and pies sold here, fresh fruit and vegetables and a large selection of cakes, wines and locally sourced produce. They sell their own Stempster potatoes, which are supremely delicious, never fall to bits in the pan, and are a firm favourite in our household. They also sell frozen sweet pastries (also delicious), ice cream and other household basics. Family run farm shop, with lovely staff who are always so helpful and pleased to see you. Can't recommend enough.

I come back to visit every few years. This is the last place I went with my Grandad before he died. This was his local shop. The staff are friendly and its always stocked up and clean. The fruit and vegetables are always delicious. Highly recommend Mitchells Farm Shop.

Great place, huge variety of very nice fruit and vegetables, plants and plugs, great fresh and frozen selection also selling cards - gifts - biscuits - ornaments so I think very well worth a visit

Great farm shop a bit pricey but it's worth it for the quality. Shop here about once a week and it has a big range of products not just fruit and veg.highly recommend

I love this shop, the ladies that work there are very helpful, polite and keep it looking clean and always have what you need, especially if you are a regular, I come from Clacton-on-Sea just to get all my eggs, veg and frozen bits, love there large potatoes, Morrison potatoes are rubbish compared to Mitchell’s,

Brilliant family farm shop. We shop here weekly for all of our fresh vegetables and other produce. Wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Such a variety of produce and all reasonably priced. Their new potatoes are superb!

Regular visitor here. Fresh, good quality fresh produce. Greens fish from the frozen section is a must if you like your fish.

Huge range of frozen and fresh food recommend to anyone local to use this place you will not be dissatisfied

A very nice farm shop close to Colchester that sells a wide variety of fresh local produce including fresh fruit, vegetables and fantastic local breed beef, chicken, pork, lamb and game. The shop has a range of chutneys and cheese and sells all the stables like bread and milk. The farm shop also has a selection of gifts which proved very helpful at Birthdays and Christmas. I am a regular shopper here!
