I received an excellent service here recently. I asked them to look at my car's tracking as well. The mechanic who looked at it said, it was so marginally off that I decided not to charge you for it, very decent of them. Greatly appreciate it and thank you.

KJL have carried out a variety of work on our two cars and my son's over the past two years. They are excellent and of particular note is that they provide a trusted service where they aim to only do what really needs doing and they go out of their way to get a great price - not just relying on manufacturer's parts departments but seeking alternatives. One such example came in at a third the price of an initial quote from our previous garage. They have also carried out inspections & fault finding at no cost - great for peace of mind. They've always tried to fit work in at short notice when we've had a problem too.

I've recently used the garage for several things, from fitting new headlights to an MOT and service.

The team are knowledgeable, honest and decent. Most of my dealings have been with Mark, who is all of the above. Prices are fair and transparent.

Had my car in here today and very happy with them. 3 substantial jobs and 2 more "housekeeping" ones done, all complete within the day at a very reasonable price. No shady diagnostic charges either and they drove me to work this morning too. All the jobs done perfectly and my car drives like a dream again now. As other reviews say, a very honest garage. I'd definitely recommend them.

No complaints for the KJL crew. Car was booked in within two days for MOT (first appointment). Needed new tyre to pass. They ordered that) well quick, for same day fitting. Passed and well chuffed!

The garage fitters in for an MOT at relatively short notice. The car was delivered to them 8:30 on the day in question. The person on the main death seemed a bit grumpy and not very customer-focused. There was a bit of confusion about the time we need to collect the car, but after phoning they pulled out the stops. We collected the car early afternoon. This time our host was a lot more convivial. The car passed it's MOT with only a headlight changed. Overall, apart from grumpy morning host, the service we got was very good and they appeared to be honest in their dealings with us. I would happily take the car back for its yearly service or other repairs.

I've taken my car to these guys a few times now and they're my first choice locally. Friendly, professional, good prices and complete work fast with no fuss.

They also communicate what's happening and check with you first before doing anything additional - meaning there's no unexpected surprises when it's time to pay. Great mechanics!

When I needed my MOT done ASAP, they not only did it quickly, but came to pick up my car for me! (which they also had to jump-start because my battery was dead), but also completed my MOT the same day and returned it right back to my drive!
Always felt that nothing is too much trouble, even called up today to get a new break light and they asked me to come in and did it straight away! Always friendly, reliable and efficient.
Also, being a uni student, they are definitely one of the garages which are value for money!

I came in for an MOT and it needed tyres changing - the guys were very kind and it was a Sterling service as they managed to order parts in and I went away with new tyres and a passed MOT

Exceptional service. I was due to go away the same day that my car battery failed. I rang the garage at 8.05 and Nick came round at about 8.25 having already ordered a new battery 'just in case'. He returned the car a few hours later having replaced the battery, checked the car over and pumped the the tyres to carry 4 passengers and loads of luggage. I was able to go away that afternoon without worrying. Would happily recommend them.

Quick and easy booking system, was able to book my car in for the next morning. I was kept informed of their findings and the work done was good value compared to other quotes I had received. Helpful, friendly staff, will use again.

These guys are the best. Helpful, friendly, professional service and they go over and above to help their customers. We started using them when we moved to the area a year ago and wouldn't go anywhere else. My son recently got his first car and has had a few problems with it. KJL have fixed the problems quickly and at a reasonable cost to get him mobile again so he can work as without his car he can't get to work.

He just phoned me to ask what to do when the oil is low and l told him to go to the garage and ask what sort he needed and whether they sell it and they topped it up for free. You really don't get that type of service anywhere else.

I took my car for an Mot to KJL and I have nothing but lovely things to say. They allowed me to use a courtesy car to get to work as I was running late which I know is not standard service so I really feel like they went the extra mile for me. The service was friendly, fast and professional. I will definitely be using them when my car needs a service!! Thank you guys for all your help!
