I read an amazing write up about this restaurant and since then always wanted to give it a go. I wish I hadn't left it so long. This is by far the best curry and food I've ever tasted and so fresh. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of time in between courses aswell and nothing is rushed. A beautiful little restaurant and very clean. Highly recommend and can't wait to return.

Stepping through the doors of Mount Everest in Aberdeen, one is immediately enveloped by an atmosphere rich with the scents and sounds of Nepal. The air is thick with the aroma of spices, a tantalizing prelude to the culinary journey that awaits within this charming restaurant.

A cozy haven, adorned with Nepalese artifacts and warm, inviting colors, Mount Everest offers an authentic and immersive dining experience. The staff, ever gracious and attentive, ensure that each guest feels like a cherished member of their family, guiding them through the menu with knowledgeable recommendations.

The menu itself is a masterpiece of Nepalese cuisine, offering a diverse array of dishes that cater to all palates. Each dish is a testament to the chef’s expertise and passion, meticulously crafted to highlight the vibrant and complex flavors unique to Nepal. From the succulent momo dumplings to the rich, aromatic curries, every bite is a revelation.

In the spirit of this extraordinary experience, I offer a haiku:

Spices dance in air,
Mountain peaks on my plate rise,
Nepal in each bite.

The standout dish of the evening was the Himalayan Lamb Curry, a symphony of tender meat and perfectly balanced spices, transporting us to the rugged landscapes of the Himalayas with each mouthful. The freshness of the ingredients and the harmonious blend of flavors made it a truly unforgettable culinary delight.

The attention to detail extends to the beverage selection, with a thoughtful array of traditional and contemporary drinks to complement the meal. The Nepalese tea, fragrant and soothing, provided a perfect conclusion to a sublime dining experience.

Mount Everest is not just a restaurant; it is a portal to the heart of Nepal, a place where every dish tells a story, and every visit feels like a cherished memory in the making. Aberdeen is truly fortunate to host such a gem, and I look forward to my next culinary adventure there.

In conclusion, Mount Everest in Aberdeen is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and enchanting Nepalese dining experience. Every aspect, from the ambiance to the service to the exquisite food, is a testament to their dedication and love for the culinary arts. Bravo!

This is a little restaurant good enough to fit in your group party's. The food was prepared fresh and delicious. We were four in a family had a family Christmas dinner tried different dishes. Had couple of macallan scotch pegs l loved it. They gave us a hut which was very cosy place to sit along with loved ones. Surely recommend others to enjoy a tasty food here, and planning to revisit Mount Everest sooner.

It always comes up to the mark!! Good food in lovely surroundings with excellent customer service. We had a booth in the corner and that gave us plenty of space for what was to come!! The room was buzzing with the low hum of customers chatting and laughing together...nice not to have a room overwhelmed by tubed music! The music was a nice ethnic blend of calming sounds....very pleasant.

Easily the best curry house I’ve ever been. Visited twice when visiting Aberdeen and both times been seriously impressed. The haggis pakoras are tremendous and lamb vindaloo was delicate and delicious. Even the rice is head and shoulders above every other curry house I’ve eaten at.

A hidden gem! Saw this has great reviews and food vegan options, and I'm very glad we went! Don't be fooled by the office-looking exterior, it's like a tardis inside. The device was excellent and the food so fresh and delicious.

Lovely little place nestled in an unassuming industrial estate, has your typical Indian faves but also some interesting Nepalese dishes if you're feeling adventurous.
I had the mango chicken and that was great, staff were incredibly nice and welcoming and the eatery is nicely decorated and comfortable. Would happily become e a regular if I lived locally

Sadly I can't claim an undiscovered gem here, the previous reviews say it all.
Externally you'd think that they were trying to disguise it, hidden away in a nondescript building on an industrial estate
Inside... wow. Beautifully decorated with a lovely atmosphere.
Service excellent with a knowledgeable head waiter, nothing too much trouble.
Finally - food to die for.

Great night out and well worth the drive

Was in Aberdeen with work and searched top curry houses and stumbled upon this in the opposite direction of town. Food was really good. It was a Wednesday so fairly quiet but a steady stream of takeaways and really enjoyed it. Glad I came. Shame I won't be able to come back again anytime soon.

Everything about Mount Everest was a surprise. Tucked away in an industrial estate. But what a lovely restaurant inside. The staff and owner offer superb ambience and the food is outstanding.

Worth the travel so we will definitely be back 😄
