Tea At The Quay Mistley

Lovely cafe with a view over the estuary. The coffee & grilled pulled pork panini were a delicious pat-on-the-back after walking 6 miles of the Essex Way from Wrabness

My Sister and I had a lovely meal at The Quay 19/6/22. All the Staff were friendly and so helpful and obliging.The food was good reasonably priced and well presented. We each had a cheese and ham panini, served with a side salad and crisps, followed by a slice of red velvet cake. The Quay is also dog friendly, another bonus.

Lovely place to have tea n cake.
Views out onto The Stour are exquisite.
Unfortunately because it is situated in an old quayside building, there's no outside seating.. Although there's only a few steps up into the building they are quite steep.
But all in all a pleasant place.

Lovely atmosphere in this relaxed, friendly gem of a place with views over the Stour, and a good selection on the menu. The name is deceptive as they do lovely lunches too.

Very pleasant visit, after looking around the very interesting art gallery with fabulous objects/paintings for sale by local makers.
Gorgeous views, tea, cake and lovely staff. Quick to serve us and clear the dirty tables.

This place is a little gem, what a beautiful tea room, beautiful assortment of cakes, scones cream & jam with a beverage of your choice lovely little attic please it's a must visit, the staff are awesome 👍🔥👍

I don’t make it here often, but it’s always warm, welcoming, and friendly when I do. The staff all have quietly funny and friendly personalities, and there’s a few good locations to tuck yourself away if you would find it tricky to be surrounded by people on all sides.

It’s so lovely to have a gorgeous nook for a catch up, or somewhere to relax with a brew. Dog friendly too ❤

The first time we have been there.
the food was great we did have a little wait as they were quite busy.
but we were apologised to, so we didn't mind the wait. the two guys that run it were very welcoming and pleasant. all round a lovely place for lunch. we'll done .

Great place for snack or simple meal. As it claims, it"s a café, with few choices. Scrambled egg looked good - definitely go back for that!

Lovely place we only stopped for hot drinks and a piece of cake, its dog friendly, after doing a treasure hunt walk around mistley.

Such a lovely little place tucked away at the picturesque Quay. My friend and I enjoyed a lovely lunch here. Quick service and nice friendly atmosphere and doggy friendly. So glad we discovered this place! Just be warned there is a steep flight of steps to access as its all upstairs unfortunately - at least as far as I know....apologies if I've missed something as we didn't look outside downstairs there might be more space for this?? We will definitely be coming back again!

Came out for a morning breakfast with our family. Great food! Homemade sausage patties, yummy Eggs Benedict, local doorstop bread. Service was top notch! Loved the views too!

Came from Harwich for a wander along the walls in the hope of a dog friendly place to stop off and found here. Had really nice cake and coffee, lovely friendly staff who brought a bowl of water out for our puppy. Beautiful view. Will definitely come back and try lunch soon.

Lovely place to sit comfortably and enjoy your food. The owners Matt and Chris were friendly to chat with along with their staff. I loved the tranquil atmosphere too as it wasnt too busy when I went. I'd highly recommend their signature breakfast dish as well, it hit the spot for me. 🙌🏾😋

Ask for a cortardo, it's stronger than a flat white, less milk👍
The amazing smell of the maltings as you walk in......if only there could be a hot beverage with that flavour 🤔.

In my opinion the only place you can get proper coffee In Manningtree and always super friendly and welcoming.
