Ardgartan Hotel

An absolutely beautiful and peaceful location. The rooms were large with a wonderful view over Loch Long. The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. (Our room 204 is in need of a replacement double mattress)The evening entertainment was good and the quizzes & bingo quite enjoyable. Normal hotel bar prices, but the bar staff were extremely friendly.

Set in a stunning location, this hotel is fantastic. Room was clean, large in comparison to some much more expensive hotels. Food was excellent, staff were so lovely. I want to highlight Melanie in particular, so friendly, helpful and professional. Entertainment at night if you want it. Highly recommend!

Come here as part of Lochs & Glen's package tour. Coach travel from Bedfordshire, daily tours, and half board for 5 nights for under £500 each! Staff are really friendly and efficient, coach drivers are safe and chatty, food is ample. Waiting staff all very professional. It's served a bit regimental but this is because there are over 200 people staying mainly over 50s. Evening entertainment The view is superb, with the hotel set on the edge of Loch Long surrounded by forest with various animals to be seen. A stroll to the boat house provides a good spot to photograph the hotel. Being purpose built all rooms face the Loch. I'm 62 and my wife 59 so we were some of the youngest there. We also went with our sprightly 77 year old neighbour who can be quite fussy and she loves it as well. We how to use them again for exploring another part of Scotland.

Very beautiful place. Couldn't fault anything. All the staff were so attentive and helpful 👏 and Ian (the manager) was an absolute gem and always on hand. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. Will definitely be going back

Fantastic Hotel, set out in superb grounds really great for a quiet getaway. Very friendly staff, excellent choice of food.

Are coach came here for lunch, no wear suitable to sit and eat . Lots of Chesterfield settees made for little people. Impossible to eat comfortably very difficult to get up .NOT SUITABLE FOR ELDERLY FOLK.

Lovely hotel on the banks of loch long great views great food and lovely staff nothing was a bother to them and the room was huge definitely worth a visit

A very spacious hotel with great views, friendly and evidently highly motivated staff, clean and comfortable rooms..just about everything you need. Primarily serving coach parties from Lochs and Glenns that own the hotel, independent travellers can also book in. Highly recommended.

Stayed here as part of a Lochs & Glens tour holiday. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds on the shores of Loch Long. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Food is excellent. The staff all go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Excellent hotel owned by lochs and Glen's coaches,, this is there flagship hotel, they do have 5 more of there own hotels. Excellent holiday company with local pick ups, all inclusive, meals, excursions..

After years of hospital visits.My first holiday what a joy to come to Ardgarten. The care of Ian rhe staff and Kieran and other drivers made it a holiday I will NEVER forget

Brilliant stay at The Ardgartan Hotel with Lochs & Glens Coach Holidays. The view from our room was just amazing. Breakfast and dinner are both very good. The restaurant service can seem a little rushed but they are super efficient in getting a lot of hot, tasty food out to the diners in a limited time. Only 2 small negative comments which don't affect the star rating. There were no towels in our room on arrival (just relieved I noticed before having a shower), also the fire alarm went off at 4 am on our day of departure. I can confirm the fire alarm can be heard, loud & clear!

Absolutely brilliant hotel..fantastic view's..the staff are super helpful.. we had a great holiday with Lochs and Glen's. It is run like clockwork..food is very good and the day trips are well organised..the only problem we had was we had to come home.

Stopped for Lunch- very nice. The scenery of Loch Long and the surrounding hills are stunning and is best seen for yourself

Excellent break only marred by bathroom fan suddenly coming on in the middle of the night on our last night. Beautiful location with some delightful walks direct from the hotel.

Sorry to leave, absolutely love the place. Fantastic views, lovely food and wonderful staff. Large comfortable rooms and views to die for. Soo happy when it snowed most of the morning, and the snow flakes were the size of dinner plates. Would have been happy to be snowed in all winter, just watching the wildlife and taking in the beautiful scenery. Unfortunately, they said they were going to get us out and on our way home tomorrow 🙁
