Regency Tea Room

Ok Saturday 22nd I arranged for a small wake to be held at the tea room for about 21 people. The tea room were so hospitable and considerate where many guests complimented me after. They took the time to find out a bit about me and my late aunts life and arranged a lovely fresh finger buffet- there was more than enough for everyone. I will be going back and making it a regular stop when I’m back in Teignmouth. Thanks to the whole team, from me and June’s family 💕

Regency Tea rooms hosted us for a wake and it was just perfect. The hosts were polite, caring and empathic. They allowed us to privately book the whole cafe. Provided a lovely food spread of sandwiches, sausage rolls, mini sausages, pork pies, crisps, veg sticks dips and more! With wines and coffees available it suited everyone. Would highly recommend and would visit again.

A wonderful place, with delicious food and delightful service! We booked afternoon tea for my Mum and Dad, and had a lovely time working our way through plates of sandwiches, scones and fancies. The staff are super-friendly, and everything is served on beautiful classic china. We'll definitely be doing that again. Recommended!

Visited mid week for a lunch. Very friendly greeting and lovely food. Varied menu - something to suit everyone - and I can highly recommend the GF carrot cake. I forgot to do a photo of the cake as it didn’t last that long!

Excellent food, friendly owner and brilliant staff. Went in for Coffee and Cake. Took away an amazing homemade Cheese Scone. So good we went back the following morning for an excellent breakfast and another cheese scone. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

Love the homely atmosphere. Coffee and soup were both very good (though the accompanying bread roll could have been a bit larger). Great, friendly service. My new go-to Teignmouth cafe.

We picked up scones and Devon cream and jam to bring home for breakfast today. By far the best ever! And charming friendly service. Wonderful!

Second visit, This time with our Grandson. Unplanned stop as the heavens opened when we were out for a stroll. Service was great. We were made very welcome even with big soggy pram. Offered a game to entertain toddler. Lovely cuppa and crumpets :)

Went to teignmouth for the day but didn't want fish and chips. We were so pleased to find this gem. Spotlessly clean with pleasant decor, super helpful and friendly staff and a varied and well priced menu. We had sandwiches which were presented beautifully with salad, coleslaw and crisps. They didn't stint on the filling either. Delicious! My tea was presented in a china pot with cup and saucer and there was enough for two really. A really lovely place to sit and eat and totally on top of the covid restrictions too. Fabulous cake selection but too full to indulge. Next time.

Food was delicious, and big portions

Amazing for a gluten free diet with the menu clearly stating what was or could be. They even had an assortment if gluten free cakes, desserts and scones

We had a cold breezy walk along the seafront and walked just passing by and thought let's have refreshments.
This is the quintessential tea room. The warmth from service, atmosphere and perfectly seating was quant.
We had tea, coffee and fruit scones, with clotted cream and jam, presented on a stand. Warm and fresh scones tasted marvellous.

I would like to say a big thank you for the lovely afternoon tea on the 1st of June my birthday with my friends it was so nice the food was amazing and such friendly staff and atmosphere we will be visiting again soon thanks once again sharon 😀.

We enjoyed a lovely cream tea at the recently reopened Regency Tea room. The staff are lovely and the quality of the food is fantastic value for money.

Lovely little team room in Teignmouth. They catered for our vegan guests (we just had to bring the vegan scones) and everything was super tasty. Lovely staff and warm, cosy atmosphere. Really appreciate you catering for us for our friend's baby shower. Many thanks x

Very good food and attentive service. Food cooked fresh so a wait is to be expected. A great place for a traditional/vintage Afternoon Tea.
