It was a warm sunny evening so we thought we would get fish & chips to take to the back beach. Fantastic, friendly, happy service even though it was boiling hot in the shop! Amazing fish & chips, delicious, crispy and fresh. Reasonable price, good portions. It was far better than Rockfish restaurant! Can’t wait to go back for more.

Absolutely stellar experience at the Jolly Good Fish and Chip shop! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and don't even get me started on the chips - golden and crunchy, just the way they should be. But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible service. Not only did the staff go above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied, but they also surprised us with delightful free extras! It's clear they genuinely care about their customers' experience. If you're in the mood for fish and chips served with a side of exceptional service, look no further than the Jolly Good Fish Café. We were warmly welcomed to eat in, even with our little dog. Really friendly helpful staff & delicious food, we could watch being cooked. Flakey soft fish with no skin & crispy batter, loooovly chips! Such a nice atmosphere too.

My family and I had lunch in here today and loved it. Both the food and service was exceptional and the children really enjoyed their food too. It genuinely is a family friendly place and we were made to feel so welcome. We look forward to visiting again!

Great little cafe/chip shop. It's nice to sit down in a chippy. At busy times book a table because they only have a few tables. The fish was so fresh, chips were golden with good texture. A nice touch with the slice of lemon and a good portion of mushy peas. Top quality. Will deffo be going back.

Great choice of fish, with some fish you rarely get at other fish and chip places such as Hake and Plaice. Friendly staff and a nice cosy atmosphere

Best fish and chips in Teignmouth. More of a takeaway than restaurant but you can eat in aswell. Definitely worth finding if you are in the area.

We love this fish and chip shop is our go to one, when at teignmouth. Good food, friendly staff, reasonably priced, decent portions.

Fantastic fish and chips, the batter was light and crispy and the chips were cooked to perfection. It was so good we had to go back while we still in the area.

A good selection of fish is cooked to order, crispy batter, never greasy, chips are crispy and not soggy and stuck together which seems to be how other establishments serve theirs these days, very good value, the best fish and chip shop in Teignmouth by a long way. Give them a go!

Good portions of cod and chips, cooked to order. Hosts friendly. We first went there during Covid when it was take out only so now it's great to sit in their cosy cafe at back of shop
