Me and my partner came here for a weekend getaway! And it was absolutely amazing!

The animals are all rescues and are so sweet and friendly, and the location is absolutely beautiful! The tents are essentially like mini houses and have absolutely everything you need, including your own shower and bathroom!
The hot tubs are awesome, and there's even a bus that's converted into a pub!

We didn't get to meet Pippa as she was away, but Stuart was lovely and an excellent host. Nothing was too much trouble, and he even took us to meet the animals!

10/10, will definitely be back soon! Thanks for a superb stay!

What a truly magical place. The views from the safari tents are beautiful, even on a rainy day, and when the sun shines it is something very special. We all (my husband, our 3 teens and 2 dogs) felt so relaxed during our stay - it's real place of escapism. My husband tracks his sleep with an Aura ring and he got the highest sleep score possible for sleep every night (unheard of for him) at Hempsall Farm - which is a testament to the comfortable beds, lovely bedding and relaxing setting. We loved the vegan pastries in the morning and sampled more of the vegan deserts than we care to admit! :) It was great to meet the sanctuary animals too.

This place is amazing and that's all down to the hard work and dedication of Pippa and Stuart. Our stay totally exceeded expectations. It didn't even matter that we didn't have the best weather as there was so much to do. The safari 'tent' (its so much more than a tent...more like a cabin) had everything we needed and was super comfortable. Absolute luxury. Lovely hot shower as well. From the pool/table tennis table...which the kids played on for most of the stay...to the hot tub...to the freshly baked pastries delivered to our tent door....we had everything we wanted. And importantly we all fell in love with the animals. We definitely plan to come again.

Had a wonderful weekend stay glamping here. Pippa was a great host. We enjoyed the relaxing environment, hot tub, firepit and walks around the area. Meeting the animals was a special experience, they were all very friendly and I'm so glad our stay helps to support their well-being :) We can't wait to be back again!

Hempsall Farm is simply incredible!
The safari tents are luxury and equipped with everything you may need. Beds were comfortable, we loved using the wood burner, hot tub and fire pit.
We ordered pastries for breakfast, we were spoilt for choice and they were delicious.
The highlight of our stay was meeting the beautiful animals, and learning about their lives before making it to the sanctuary, it's clear that they are very well loved here :)
Pippa and Stuart were friendly and helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly.
We just wish we could have stayed longer!!

Such a wonderful place! We went to volunteer for the week and absolutely loved getting to know all of the rescue animals there. It’s so peaceful and a great place to escape. The safari tents are amazing and the owners are lovely. We’ll definitely be visiting again! If you’re vegan (or planning on making the change) I highly recommend it 💚

Fantastic Clamping experience.
Accommodation amazing, so we'll designed and thought out.
Pippa was a fantastic host, easy to chat with, great with kids and super helpful.
Amazing selection of very tempting vegan pastries, icecreams and foods.
Lilly loved being shown round the animals, being allowed to feed the chickens and rabbits and brush the goat.
It was an amazing week despite the weather.

I don’t think I can write the words to explain how much we loved this place. The glamping tents are beautiful: everything is high quality, from the kitchen utensils, games and super comfy beds.

The hot tub is actual perfection. Easy to heat with the most stunning view.

The bar bus, playground, decking and fire pits are the best added bonus. The most stunning sunsets!

And of course those incredible rescue animals! Seeing them every day is just joyous.

Pippa and Stu: you have something magical at Hempsall and we can’t wait to return!

Wow, what a weekend away. One of the best holidays we have ever had and our first vegan exclusive one. Our girls absolutely loved it, from playing with the animals, enjoying the play equipment, learning all about the animals and excitement with the hot tub. They learnt how to play table tennis and pool in the tent and did not want to leave. They are desperate for us to book again. They met other little friends, which is so nice for them as they do not know any other vegan children where we live. I couldn’t rate this place highly enough. Pippa and Stuart are such amazing hosts and give you space if you want it, but right there to help if you need it. We had some great evenings in the double decker bus/pub with some lovely drinks whilst watching the sunset with like minded new friends. You will not regret visiting this unique place.

What a wonderful place! I booked this site as a solo visitor and I couldn't have been made to feel more welcome and well looked after! From the amazing 5* tents, the fresh pastries delivered in the morning, meeting the beautiful animals and a G&T in the 'pub bus' in the evening...heaven 🤗
The owners Pippa and Stuart are fantastic and look after their guests so well...I will most definitely be back 😊

We recently spent a long weekend (last weekend in April) at this lovely site. Our family had two of the three safari style tents, the third being out of use so we had the place to ourselves. One of our tents was the dog friendly one.
These tents are spacious, well equipped, comfortable and clean. We were cold because the weather was unseasonably cold and wet and it’s a tent after all!
However there is wood burner which kept us warm. The first load of logs are included and you then buy any extra you need. We did use more than you would normally this time of year but that couldn’t be helped!
The other remedy to staying warm was the fantastic wood burner powered hot tub which we used every day. Stuart had already warmed them up to a reasonable temperature (30c?) so you are not having to heat cold water! We just needed to bring it up to our desired temperature.
Either Stuart or Pippa are always available via text to help with the hot tub, provide more logs or anything else. They were very welcoming and friendly and we spent a nice evening having a drink and chatting with them in their double decker bus pub!
Other nice touches were the dinning table which converts into a table tennis table and pool table and the fire pit outside which can be used for cooking.
We didn’t get to meet the animals they have rescued at weekend due to the weather. But when we checked out the sun was making a rare appearance and Pippa spent an hour introducing us. It was very clear how passionate Pippa is about the animals and being vegan, which made the stay educational as well as enjoyable!
The setting is very peaceful and relaxing just outside the village. So it’s perfect for local walks and we popped into Cambridge using the park and ride a couple of miles down the road.
All in all despite our weather a great weekend. Stuart & Pippa have created a very special place which we highly recommend.

After over 10 years of not being able to go on holiday we chose to go to Hempsall Farm for a long weekend. Our tent was amazing and kitted out for everything we needed for a self-catering break. Ross decided he would be the one to light and maintain the fire pit, wood burner hot tub, and fire inside. He mostly succeeded, though the first night we were freezing and the dinner took hours to cook. He did improve in the next two nights though.

Being sited on a farm with rescued animals we couldn't wait to see all of the residents and spent a long time meeting all of them and hearing their stories. We were able to stroke those who enjoyed a fuss, some of them insisted on a stroke by ramming their heads into us (Jack was the best at this!).

We visited the animals multiple times during our stay and loved to see them just acting like they should and enjoying a life in safety.

It was great to sit in the pub bus and watch the goats and sheep battle for the best spot on the hill in their enclosure. The two lambs ignored this and just sat eating grass to one side. The battle for the hill continued as we sat in our hot tub waiting for nightfall and the chance to relax under the stars.

Our evenings were spent reading by the fire, listening to the radio, and hearing sheep in the background. We live near to a farm where we always hear lambs and feel sad knowing what will happen to them. Hearing the noises of sheep that are safe was amazing.

It was great to meet Pippa and Stuart who gave us a warm welcome and patiently answered our questions such as "sheep have tails?" or "I can't make fire, please help!".

Our planned meals were thrown out the window when we found out they freshly provide some breakfast options (the ham and cheese Danish's and waffles were outstanding) and even ordered vegan poached eggs, we didn't even know that was a thing now!

We thoroughly recommend a stay here and will be booking for next year soon.

Our week at Hempsall Farm was blissful! Pippa and Stuart are wonderful hosts. Warm and welcoming, extremely accommodating and helpful - always ready to help us when we couldn't get the fire going for our hot tub (we needed some extra practice!). We had the entire place to ourselves and even though it was just the two of us, they were more than happy to open up the pub on the bus, a gorgeous place for drinks and watching the sun go down. The animal residents are so beautiful and it was a privilege to meet them all up close and get to know them. This would be a fantastic spot for a family or friends holiday. We happily spent a whole day on the grounds entertaining ourselves with the hot tub, pool and ping pong table and games provided. It was very special to be so immersed in nature with deer running across the fields and birdsong from dawn till dusk. We already can't wait to come back! Thank you both for such an incredible week - what you have built is truly inspiring.

What an incredible place!
Pippa was on site to greet us on arrival, showed us to our amazing safari tent.. even had the hot tub warming up ready for us to get straight in!
The tents are so well put together, with everything you'd need, including a fireplace for cosy nights.
They are warm, comfortable and have the most beautiful views.
Being set on a sanctuary is an added bonus, with animals to greet every morning.
There is an on site bar (a converted double-decker bus) and Pippa and Stuart also host a pizza night which I definitely recommend.

The location is great, it is far from noise and light pollution, so spending a night in the hot tub with a clear night sky is amazing, you can see so many stars, it's just incredible!

I simply cannot recommend this place enough xx

Amazing! I feel so happy after my weekend there. The hosts are very inviting and comforting. The animals that live there are also very kind and welcoming, had so much fun for my first time, meeting new people and just being away from life for a few days. Especially at night.

We had a great BBQ with our group and the hosts, a little cheese and wine night on the bus bar which was great, so many delicious vegan cheeses 😋and of course giving chip a belly rub had to be the highlight. 💚

Hempsall farm lived up to all our dreams and expectations and more.
Pippa and Stuart, who run the sanctuary and glamping, were the kindest, friendliest people who have done an inspirational job creating this haven for both animals and their vegan friends alike.
The accommodation was perfect and site was incredibly picturesque, with sunset views and stargazing from the hot-tub and hares and deer seen from your safari tent. So much attention to detail has gone into creating this wonderful experience from the freshly baked pastries served in the morning, to the hot tub being ready on your arrival, to the outdoor games left for you to truly immerse yourself in the outdoors and relax. And best of all, meeting their beautiful rescued residents and hearing about each of their unique stories reminds you of who you are fighting for.

Stay for as long as possible! You will never want to leave this paradise on Earth, we just wish we'd stayed longer!

We had an incredible long weekend at Hempsall, and it exceeded our expectations, from the peaceful setting to the warm hospitality.

The hosts, Pippa and Stuart (along with their family), were extremely welcoming and, being nestled in the tranquility of nature, they have created a safe haven for all animals - four legged and two! - where it is possible to relax, refresh, and just generally disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

One of our highlights was meeting the resident animals, with Wilson - a big, gentle giant of a goat - and TC the cat being particular favs. It was heartwarming to see how well-cared-for they are, and being able to spend time with them was a truly unique and fulfilling experience. We also had a visit at our tent a couple of days from a curious chicken - but don’t worry, they’re not intrusive at all, and the short gated fence means you don’t have to interact with them, if that’s not your thing (personally, we loved it!).

The tents are very spacious and comfy, and the dining table that converted into a table tennis and pool table was a massive plus, and got plenty of use during our stay, as did the frisbees provided. My 10-year old daughter also loved her camp bed, and on the one day where we had thunderstorms, it became a sanctuary for her to the extent she even fell asleep despite some loud cracks above us!

We’d not been glamping like this before, so weren’t sure what to expect - any future glamping venues now have a lot to live up to! There’s no TV (though with views for miles, even my daughter didn’t miss it) and no wifi (but phone signal was strong throughout). There is a large cool box (rather than a fridge) though ice blocks are provided on a daily basis, and we found our food stayed fresh throughout. The shower is the works! - jets and everything! - and there is a hot tub too (which we only briefly used ourselves, though with the views you could imagine people could spend many happy hours there). You’re provided with plenty of wood to get you started - we lit the fire in the tent a couple of times, cooked on the fire pit outside one night, and used the wood fired hot tub once too, and still had plenty of wood left over from the original batch provided.

Pippa and Stuart’s warm and friendly nature made us feel instantly welcome. They were always easily contactable, available to provide assistance, and their passion for veganism was evident. As a vegan myself, it was so nice to finally go somewhere and feel like I could be myself, and it was great chatting to them and hearing from their experiences.

We ordered pastries on a couple of mornings, hand-delivered by our hosts, which were delicious! I’d recommend the vanilla and hazelnut crown. It was nice to sit on the decking, with a morning cup of tea, and hear nothing but the sounds of nature around us.

To offer some balance, the pizza oven wasn’t working during our stay (we’d heard good things about the pizza and bus bar!) but Pippa had let us know in advance, and it didn’t impact our wonderful experience of the weekend at all.

So in conclusion, our long weekend was a truly blissful and rejuvenating experience. The peaceful setting, the opportunity to interact with the animals, and the exceptional hospitality provided by Pippa and Stuart made it an unforgettable stay. We’d highly recommend this glamping site to anyone seeking a tranquil retreat with compassionate hosts, and it’s an absolutely ‘must visit’ for anyone who is vegan or vegan-curious. We can't wait to return and create more cherished memories in this serene haven.

This place is an absolute must for any vegans out there. Pippa and Stuart the owners have done a fantastic job creating such a great environment to visit. The accommodation is superb, everything you could need/want, all the animals are so well kept and looked after, fresh pastries in the morning and the pizza they cooked is the best I've ever had! I could not find one fault with the place it's simply fantastic and we will most certainly be going back again.
