Great park with plenty for all ages to enjoy. Recently updated with a toddler park area and one for older children aswell. Pump track for the kids to ride there bikes on and plenty of space to run around with dogs. We had ice creams from Ronnie's café and these were brilliant and big enough that we could all share without arguments. Also the hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows was pretty good too! Car park on site that is 80p for 2 hours or £2 for all day which is pretty good to be fair with plenty of spaces. Will definitely be going back soon

Good sized car park, takes either cash or card. Parks in main part are all finished and according to my 10 year daughter, absolutely amazing!! Small sandpit, small fenced new toddler park and biiiig open large park. Lots of kids playing today including teenagers, lots of challenge equipment and 2 ziplines to race on!There's also a new Go Ape tree course (chargeable and book in advance) and lots of walks to enjoy. Big open spaces and secret walks around the Big Wander Woods. Bit sad that the little wooden park in there hasn't been updated.
Good cafe which allows (well behaved) dogs in too.

A lovely space to walk around. Lots of fields, a river running through it, lily pond, Go Ape for the adventurous. The cafe is really good, lots of choice and freshly made.
Recommend for a day out, kids, dogs, everyone!

Beautiful park. Rest rooms are open to the public. Trail walks are suitable for young children. You get to see some farm animals out in the fields on the walks. Even walking through with the sheep.
Park play equipment has been recently refurbished. It gets very busy. Lots of equipment and more modern. Shame they didn't do the 3rd playground area. It's always quiet there. Fishing area. Food and drink shop there but over priced. Lots of parking spaces. Wheel chairs and pushchairs can get around the park easily. Not so much the nature trail walks, though, unfortunately. There's a gym on site that you could sign up to and use the running track.

Great kids playground, pump track and "cycle road system". Nice cafe, nice people, nice food, nicely priced! There's also Go Ape. And then there's the park itself for football, frisbee and running off young one's steam! Love coming here.

Since the playground for the children has been updated and all the old tired slides have gone and the new ones put up it is great for children of all ages. My daughter loves to take her scooter or bike and ride round the mini roads. Lovely place to take your dog for a walk or just take a walk yourself. Go Ape is good fun too there’s so much to do there now and you can even get a snack or an ice cream 🙂. I’d say the only downside is that the public toilets aren’t always open and the cafe isn’t always willing to give out the key for the disabled toilet not good when you’re out with your children 😟. Apart from that I’d recommend it!

Lovely place for a walk with the dog. Varied terrains and different paths for different walking abilities and plenty of forest to explore.

A beautiful, multi-layered park with several different play areas for kids of different ages. Big, flat open grass fields, plus many footpaths at the back that go up and down through the trees. There's even a little cafe that sells ice cream and drinks etc. There's a big car park but you have to pay. On the plus side it's only 50p for up to 2 hours, then I think an extra £2 after that, as of May 2018. It can get extremely busy on hot, sunny days, so go very early if you want the run of the place.

This is such an amazing place to take the children of any age. The playgrounds go from toddler to teenagers and the surroundings are brilliant. I went with 3 seven year olds and there scooters and they had the time of there lives. The baby skate/bike area was so good for them and the parks and climbing areas were fantastic. We went for walks through the Forrest and across the fields and spent the day burning energy off them. The day was ended up with candy floss from the cabin seller and we went home with 3 very tired, muddy happy children.

Visited with the kids so they could try out the new park. They loved it. The cafe staff were lovely when we popped in for a brew and ice cream. Lovely and clean albeit a bit muddy (which we love, the muddier the better)

Nice time out with the kids, they really enjoyed playing around, took a long walk in the woods, enjoyed a picnic.. the only thing I didn't like was.. there are too many loose dogs running around all over the place... would be nice if the owners can keep their dogs on leash or have a separate run a round area for dogs. Parking price is reasonable

They have done a great job refurbishing the two children's play areas. Let's hope people respect and look after it. Well done Blackburn Council

Went to the Easter fair. Went early in the day so it wasn’t overly busy. Lots of families so it was really nice. Prices were fair and the attendants were having a laugh. Nice day out with the family. Even won a fish! A real fish!

Popular country park. Car parking is £2 for a day at this main car park although there are other car parks nearby that don’t charge.
Great start for Witton Weavers’ Way Walks and plenty to see and do for all the family.
There are plenty of play areas and some fee paying activities too.

My favourite place for a relaxing walk with the dog. Nature in abundance and many paths to follow.

Beautiful park.. only thing that let's it down is the huge . And I mean huge potholes on the car park (Tower Rd ) although it is free to park here however the Witton entrance parking area is payable .. apart from that I feel very lucky to live near such a beautiful area . The Easter fair was setting up which was great to see .
The visitor centre was closed but I was still able to wander around the outbuildings .

A superb place to visit for a walk with or without a dog. A good range of routes of varying lengths. Parking is available from 80p for 2 hours (Feb 24)
Well worth a visit.

Simply the best park that I know of.
With the COVID restrictions now lifted, the park has returned to normal.
The pavilion is still closed.
But I should imagine that normal service will probably return very soon.
