Penrhos Park

There aren't enough stars to say what a beautiful, clean and lovely place this is. The staff are also very friendly and the best I've met in this capacity. My mum was very sick n was passing away n they really helped make things easier by making sure we would be able to keep the room we stayed in n asked how she was which I found very nice . This is our second time at Penros and because of how lovely it was the first time, we came back a second. Very, very happy. We stayed in Oak. You won't be disappointed 😃 ☺ 👍

Great food, new menu out as well. The food is always delicious prepared by the chefs and paired with the newly renovated restraunt the experience is fantastic. The bar staff and servers are incredibly helpful and kind. A few of the staff speak Welsh, which is a bonus. The scenic view of the gold course is spectacular as well, especially in the summer.

We rented a 6 person caravan which was situated overlooking the golf course an absolutely stunning location so peaceful. Facilities in the caravan were superb couldn't fault it at all. On site nice pool, steam room & sauna. Very clean and quiet site, wonderful location, extra bonus it was fantastic to see the red kite birds sitting in the tree's and flying around they were absolutely amazing.

It's was a very good stay we stayed at Osprey 1 it was very nice as it's the 3rd times I been here it's always beautiful when you wake up and enter the open plan area in morning the view you get is sensational the only thing I'd say was bad was the door handles and had to properly fight with them to open.

Absolutely lovely place the log cabins are outstanding, clean and comfortable. The swimming pool and sauna really good. Lovely restaurant and bar love that they have a take away menu. Thank you to all the staff for making my birthday weekend, we accidentally booked the wrong accommodation but they changed it for us and didn't charge us as they had the space we are more than grateful. I first came here for my 30th birthday and have come every year since pretty much I'm now 38.

The place is fantastic!
It is a proper hotel: complete.
Clean rooms, all properly equipped with microwave, friedge, cutlery, glasses, coffee, sugar and obviously, all bed sheet and towels. Absolutely STUNNING shower! So much perfectly relaxing, specially after a bad experience with the previous one from another place.
We were absolutely delighted with Penrhos Park. The swimming pool was also great and very warm.
Breakfast had to be chose among vegetarian, full Welsh and scrambled on toast. A bit limited in my opinion, but very good.
Dinner took very very very long. Husband, daughter and I had the impression they had forgotten our order.
Food was good.
The boys in the bar were amazingly friendly!

Just in time, unfortunately, not hotel's fault, but the next door family was very loud very early in the morning, even before breakfast time. They used to slamming the doors many times, yelled and each other in the Oak corridors, kids not polite at all. Just rude!

We highly recommend Penrhos Park. We can't wait to go back to visit again.

Beaches and mountains around are absolutely awesome as well!

Spent one night here and it was very good. The rooms are large and well equipped. The Welsh breakfast was great. The setting on a golf course means there are plenty walks available. Highly recommended.

A beautiful place to spend a few days. Clean spacious rooms. A hearty Welsh breakfast & evening meal in the country club with friendly staff. Lovely pool with steam room & sauna. Excellent for a round of golf, set in a wonderful location with Red Kites floating on the thermals.

Gorgeous place to stay 😊 lovely room, cleaned every day and towels changed. Fresh bottles of water and biscuits left every day. Rooms have microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle 😊 The breakfast is amazing 😊 vegan breakfast is so good 😊

Rented a 4 person caravan which was situated overlooking the golf course an absolutely stunning location so peaceful it was amazing. We don't play golf but really enjoyed watching the early morning golfers on the filed. We will certainly visit this park again it work really well with my 5month old baby the pool was delightful and easy to book a spot.

Restaurant was fantastic. Wish we could eat here everyday.

Just spent 4 nights staying here playing 8 rounds of golf, absolutely fantastic hidden gem tough course which tests you to the max.
Course in superb condition, food has been excellent and the caravan we stayed in was fantastic, staff were friendly and would help in any way cant fault penrhos park in any way will certainly be back next year.

Absolutely bang on, me and my girlfriend visited penrhos park on 11/09/23 the service from all of the staff was phenomenal. Help we received from reception was also very helpful and of course friendly which made us feel comfortable before we got to our lovely log cabin. The food was absolutely amazing too but not to forget the area penrhos is located in (llanrhystud) it's an absolutely beautiful area nice, quiet and out of the way perfect get away for the kids or adults looking for a nice break. You're also only 15 minutes away from Morrisons, Aberystwyth and aberaeron. New quay is also only 20 minutes or so but definitely well well worth what you pay for. Thank you penrhos park

Very nice stay, rooms super clean and well priced. Many facilities available on site of the main hotel including an arcade, swimming pool etc. Lovely location near Northern Wales. Great view as well and perfect for the whole family!

I only used the gym and leisure facilities. Very nice, kept in quite good condition. In a lovely setting. Staff are friendly and helpful. It was a real treat and totally enjoyed my relaxing visit. The sauna could do with updating, but that a minor pick, as it done the job so well. So still 5stars.

Fantastic place, it has everything you need . It is spotlessly clean. Pool and sauna is amazing. It has a fantastic chef as the food is so nice. We have stayed in both caravan and hotel and are both great. The hotel room are massive with a mini kitchen which is a great bonus.

I enjoy swimming here. The water is always warm and the staff are very friendly.

I only visited to play golf. The course is a real test of both golf and stamina. Parts of the course are steep and I would advise hiring a buggy.
The greens were in great condition and very consistent. It must the best parkland course in the Cardigan Bay area.
The clubhouse, hospitality and food were also excellent - overall a great outing.

Unlike Clare, we found the room to be lovely. The beds were clean and comfortable, the kitchenette was well equipped. We stayed in the same disabled room and, yes the shower curtain may need replacing, but it certainly wasn't as horrific as it sounds. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding - even though we were the only ones having B&B they still offered everything as usual. I think the price reflects the facilities which are available rather than the standard of room, but we were very happy and would definitely go back.

Very enjoyable food in the new section of the restaurant. A well-curated menu with enough choice without being overwhelming.

Service was excellent, a good team there.
