The Red Lion

Called in the red lion for a beer on a hot sunny day. I was surprised to find they had four quality bitters on the hand pump also a large selection of lagers and ciders on draught. The pub is popular with locals and tourists. A great place to stop for a quality beer on a hot sunny day.

We have been here before a couple of years before when my partner had smokies but unfortunately it wasnt on the menu this time.
Still love the food and Scott says the cask ale was really good. He had the smoked haddock on a bed of spinach and new potatoes.
Cant fault the service and I'm sure we will be back but hopefully a bit sooner

No problems here, good food and good service in a nice traditional pub. A Caesar salad, fish and chips and a burger and chips with drinks came to £52.

Great pub in Arundel. I have never had bad food at this pub. The staff have always been friendly and helpful.
The garden area is a lovely place to sit and have a beer

Went on a Sunday lunchtime and whilst we did not eat the food looked great. Had a good selection of beer and the garden out the back was nicely done.

Called in for lunch, luckily they had availability.

So pleased the food and service were excellent will deffinatly return and reccomend 💯

Visited with my parents. Good atmosphere, staff friendly and welcoming and food was ok. Would visit again. Oh and it's dog friendly!

Really big portion and very tasty. A burger was amazing and costs 15,50£.

I haven't been back to The Red Lion for a while and the first time I've eaten a meal here. It's quite cosy and warm inside with free WiFi and friendly staff. The home-made chicken pie was really nice. It's not to busy much of the time if only going in for a drink and there's often always a table to sit at when you do.

Great location,tasty food at competitive prices. Friendly staff and a good selection on the menu.

I just love this pub! The food never disappoints and I have specials memories of me and my late brother sharing 4 starters!! 😋💞

Steak with salad, chips, and peppercorn sauce was amazing, especially it being medium rare. My wife enjoyed her steak burger.

Lovely pub with staff that couldn't be nicer. Went for a Sunday lunch. Had to book ahead for covid and social distancing was managed well. Along with their normal menu they had a choice of chicken, lamb and beef. I went for the lamb which was beautifully cooked. It was also served with buttered veg. Couldn't recommend more.

Looking forward to calling in today, travelled down from 'Lancashire', the "Best 'Smokies', Ever. See our lovely niece who we haven't seen for 2years

Nice place. I like the food there, good variety of beer. And the back garden is just amazing for summer! :) Burger is very good and the biggest I saw in pubs. Caesar salad was tasty too. We went there after Arundel Castle and I did not regret it. Definitely worth to visit!

A classic English pub. Food and drink prices a little above moderate. However, that said, the food was amazing. The 3 Sausages and mash was out of this world. Friendly staff. Great service.

Nice bright clean traditional pub. All the ales perfect. It does not feel cramped so great for meals. Food really good, and make it stand out from other Pub Foods is the attention to detail, veg cooked perfectly, same with salmon and new potatoes. Salad nice and fresh. Starters like calemari not overcooked or greasy.
Good friendly service. The only downer is food portions huge, so if you are not near starvation, order loads of starters to share!

Very nice pub. Good atmosphere, friendly staff with good service. Good menu and food was excellent. Followed current guidance well so felt very sage. Very enjoyable vist.
