Maunsel Lock Tearooms

Due to the Easter Egg hunt it was very busy, but the staff although not knowing which way to turn were really lovely, helpful, polite and friendly. A very good menu, and beautiful homemade cakes. Dogs also made very welcome

Had a great lunch here, lovely food in a beautiful location next to the canal. They were busy and we were lucky to get a table outside, so there was a wait for our food to arrive - but it was worth the wait. Very dog friendly too.

My family took a boat ride and then came to the tearoom for Pimms and sharing platters. The service was friendly and happy. The food was delicious.

Great place to stop off on long journey home as did not want to go to motorway service for a change. We thought as it was near the canal we could cool the dog off and enjoy the surroundings. Lovely spot and although the tearoom was very busy we did luckily get some nice food.

A little gem of a coffee stop for me and my mother. The Cafe is set right against the canal lock and is a tranquil oasis in the Somerset levels. My mother has very limited mobility so it was great that ample free parking is just across the lane. Coffee and cake was served by charming ladies which we very much enjoyed whilst sharing crumbs wit the cheeky sparrows!

Lovely place, a great setting and the staff are friendly. Various choices with the food. Light bites available. You can sit inside or outside, and dogs are allowed to sit outside with you. They even have cupcakes and doggy ice cream for your furry family!

Some of the best cake I've had! Mocha was perfect (not sickly and not watery either), delicious 😋. My partner had an oak milk hot chocolate which was lovely too. Of course the position, next to the canal, to sit and watch the world go by, makes the whole experience restful but interesting. A truly idyllic setting.

Lovely stop while cycling along the Bridgwater and Taunton canal. Nice fresh food and drink and tidy and clean facilities.

I visited this charming tea cafe in the evening and enjoyed some cream and tea. The taste was incredible, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place!

We both thoroughly loved it here, the staff was all very pleasant and the place itself was in a great position by the canal.
There's a carpark close to this quiet out of the way tearoom, plenty of people come here and it can get rather busy.
We had the soup and a piece of cake ( raspberry ripple,mmm) and it was really nice and some thought went into the meal.
We'll definitely be popping in again when we come through.😁👍

Such a lovely spot for a bite. We had the cheesiest of cheese scones, delish. Busy but great staff keeping on top of it and super friendly.

Lovely place to sit in the sun and enjoy a morning coffee or a lovely lunch. Afternoon teas are also served here. Lovely friendly staff.

Great disabled facilities. Such a surprising find , we didnt know there was a canal here.

Lively little spot. Found a shaded table and watched the world go by. Lovely 'planet' walks either side of the cafe, with small sculptures identifying each planet. Gorgeous ice-cream at the tea rooms, friendly staff. A lovely place to while away an hour.

Lovely place! Very good afternoon tea! All the cakes were good, and scones were lovely. Service was possibly a bit slow, but always with a smile. Can imagine it gets very busy in the summer.
