This is such a cute welcoming little cafe. We came from a walk in Mill Glen and needed to recharge. The vegan soup was amazing and the crumble .. oooohh. Lovely people and a comfortable space. All the thumbs up!

This local cafe shines for its brilliant customer service and its selection of baked goods! Had a really good espresso and fruit scone when I was here which was really affordable, and I can understand why this is such a great spot for the locals to come to!

Sat 4/5/24
After shopping in Sterling Mills outlet, we drove to Tilly's Tea Room & went in for about 1.45 pm.

We were given a table for 2 & it was facing the outside door 🚪 which was tied open & there was a cold breeze wafting in at times. So we asked the waitress if we could sit at another table & she said I could close the door if you want OR you can sit at another table & it was very good 👍 that she gave us a choice which we took up & sat at another table.

I ordered the lentil soup & was very pleased that it came nice & thick & was nice hot 🔥 too & tasted brilliant 😋 Some cafés served it up only warm & I have to get it reheated & also some soup can be too watery that i've to tare up the bread to put onto soup to thicken it up - but none off that was required in here .

Now what did I get that was warm❓ it was my pot of tea. I've had that before only a coffee lattie in some cafés.
It was nice to see tea cosies covering their T pots & I suggested that they have wee mats to sit the tea pot on, to stop the heat from dissipating onto a cold surface. Anyway the waitress took the pot away & made a fresh pot of tea that came back piping hot 🔥

Now fancy that - my baked potato gets a 10/10 because i could eat the skin with no tough bits on it at all, & it was the same with the ample portion of chicken mayo.on it OR in it [if you want]

My friend enjoyed her toasted panini with sweet chilli🌶 chicken 🐥 in it & her Lattie was in a tall glass & it tasted very nice & was hot 🔥 👍
'cos I had a sip of it.

Don't forget to sample all the lovely looking home baking - I had the coconut 🥥 & almond slice with the pink icing on top & was nice & moist BUT i felt there could have been a wee bit more of the almond taste coming through.

So pay them all a visit to this quirky looking cafe & you won't be disappointed 😁

Had a bit of cake with my maw a few days ago. Very nice, full of bananas, walnuts, and pineapple (the cake, not my maw). Also had a nice chat with one of the lassies about death metal a few visits ago, which isn't something you get everywhere.

I'm a frequent visitor to TTRS and Laura and her staff are 1st class! Nothing is too much trouble. I enjoy a scone and have eaten a few scones! Got to say....Best scones in the county! Thank you for being so kind.

Visited this lovely and cosy place twice. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
Had the lunch deal and, on a separate occasion, the full breakfast both of which were great and more than enough.
The desserts are a bit too sweet, so keep that in mind (except for the apple crumble, which was divine!)

Took our disabled wheelchair users here for a quick lunch. Couldn't access the front into the cafe due to the steps but on a nice day they have tables outside. Which suited us better. Menu has a good selection of food. From breakfasts, soups, sandwiches and cakes. Staff are very accommodating and polite. We needed a couple of adapted orders for one of our patients, having soup liquidised which they were happy to do. Other patrons were friendly and chatty. I had the full English breakfast which was large and cooked fresh to order. Tasted great!

What a lovely find. I was soaked and freezing on a bike run and stopped at the village bakers. No sitting in there, but the baker pointed me across the side road, recommending Laura's. Just brilliant stuff. I'll be back for sure.

The service and food are always so lovely here. Ordered the brie & apple panini today and it was yummy, tasty coffee and the Hummingbird cake was amazing. I always get takeaway as I'm just not fond of the noise of a busy tearoom & it's a small place to be waiting on takeaway but the place is really cute. The staff are very friendly, nice and helpful.

Excellent food and value for money. It was a bit busy but they fitted us in. Really great atmosphere.

They speak words And I laugh.

A little tea room just off the main road, but visible when driving the Stirling direction.
We had two coffees, a lentil soup and a cheese and ham toasty.
All very nice and the price was very reasonable.
The cafe is full of art work which is available for sale.
Certainly worth a visit if you passing through Tillicoultry.

Visited yesterday whilst on a wee adventure through the area and up some of the hills. Laura's Tilly Tearoom was excellent. Got seated no bother and the food was excellent. Staff were so kind and sorted out a wee mix up no bother which was great. Would recommend if in the area.

Excellent full breakfast. Not the cheapest at around £11 but worth every single penny. Get yourself a pot of tea it's massive !!

Great wee Tearoom. Never disappointed. 1st class service. Varied menu. Enjoyed the soup followed by pipping hot coffee and scrummy tray bake. The lemon vanilla cheesecake was to die for!! 😍😍 Will be back. Highly recommended.

Friendly service and really quick considering it was full (we took the last free table outside). Delicious (huge) scones. We'll definitely be back here on our next walking/cycling trip.
Visited again today. Delicious white chocolate/lime/coconut scone plus marshmallow cake. Already looking forward to next visit!
