Great lunch of fish and chip meal, £12.50 each, really tasty. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Be aware, upstairs loo and just the one so if you cannot manage stairs it may be a problem.

Quality fish and chips! Fish was lovely had nice batter cooked to order , chips lovely not bitty like in some chippys . Came in a good packaging so easy to eat from . 10 out of 10 for Jackson’s will definitely return !!

We usually have a take away but decided to eat in on this occasion. We knew the chips were good but we had the cod and chips special and the haddock special. The fish was beautiful, the batter nice and crispy, not too thick, but the main thing for us was that the whole meal wasn't greasy in any way. The staff are very friendly and service was quick, the meal was hot so it had been freshly cooked. Will definitely be visiting again. Would recommend to anyone.

We had an eat in. Fish and chips and curry my partner Sausage, chips and curry. Really fresh meals, REAL fish! Friendly staff, clean tables/ floor. You can pay many ways (cash, card, Google pay, Apple pay). Suitable for people with disabilities - though the toilet is not, located on the first floor! Definitely worth a try, the best fish and chips shop I have ever tried in Southport. Great location, close (if not part) of the marine lake, and the pier.

Wife and I have been going there for about 10 years when we make our annual pilgrimage to Formby and then on to Southport to get the best Fish and Chips in the UK.

Popped in for takeaway sausage and chips. Large portion, very good quality, reasonably priced, staff handling coronavirus well with PPE, protective screen, hand sanitizer on entry for customers and distancing guidance on the floor with clear way in around and out system in operation. 👏

went there today, 17th Nov 2023, during my work break as a decorator. Been before and always good quality. But today was superb. Fish and chips with spicy curry sauce for a take away price of £9.60.
Got to say, it was the best fish an chips and curry sauce I have had for as long as I can remember.... honestly, that good.
Came in a fancy box which was great for keeping the meal together while sat in the van eating it... far better than the wrapped paper.
Staff, very friendly and welcoming... as you would expect.
No complaints at all.... just total satisfaction with a superb meal and price, not cheap, but guess that is the average for such a meal nowadays.
Definitely going back.

Always get our fish and chips from here when we go to Southport they're always lovely. Decent portions and lovely flaky white haddock in a nice light batter. We get them to take away and eat overlooking the marina lake but there is a nice cafe area at the side if you want to dine in.

Clean and spacious. Good fish & chips. Note small special price with tea and bread £9.90 Good portions. Think that such food is becoming more of a luxury.

Food was really nice, good portion sizes. Waitress was lovely, didn't expect table service in a chippy. Reasonably priced for Southport, and much better than other fish and chip places nearby.

Got a takeaway from here today. Lovely friendly service. Giant portions. Good value. Best fish cake I’ve ever had. Light and fluffy and moist. Loads of herbs giving it a lovely flavour. Tasty batter exterior
