Byre Cottages

What a gem of a find stunning cottage with extras cakes & wine left also wood for log burner on arrival. Information book left with everything you need to know also what is in the near vicinity, beautiful sea views garden area closed off for dog 4 cottages in same ground so all share the beautiful garden hosts are on site and it’s a working farm. A long track down to cottages but well worth it. One negative could do with a little farm shop in the vicinity you have to drive everywere so make sure you go prepared. Will be returning soon so quiet & peaceful with stunning walks all around.

This place is absolutely amazing, exceeded our expectations by far.

Scenery is beautiful both on site and in surrounding areas.

Beautiful to wake up and see horses grazing the paddocks which were literally on your door step.

Was amazing to be able to walk with the farm animals free ranging.

Lots to do with lots of local attractions, plenty of walks and local beaches, we went to Aberporth with our pooches and enjoyed a pint at the Ship Inn (also dog friendly).

The Lake has a perfect little picnic area which we took advantage of, lovely to be able to have a bite to eat, glass of wine in and amongst such picturesque views, with a backdrop of the sea.

Room was immaculate, spotlessly clean and we'll equipped, welcome wine and Welsh cakes was also a lovely touch.

The scenery alone in this beautiful place is well worth venturing out for.

Log burner was cosy at night, and the rustic feel of the cottage was really very homely and unique.

Toiletries available, in plentiful amounts and tea/ coffee making facilities also well stocked.

All decor was tasteful and complimented the cottage well.

We took our 2 little doggies, there was plenty space for them to be comfortable, and also contained to one area (we didn't allow them in the bedroom out of courtesy to owners and future guests).

Despite the varying farm animals around the cottage was surprisingly quiet inside, we were not disturbed by any noises, although this would have been perfectly fine also given the surroundings.

Owners were friendly and greeted us on arrival, and were super friendly in passing when we were venturing out too, the only downside is we had to come home, would gladly stay there forever, such an amazing place.

Will definitely be returning in the future, and for a longer break.

What a wonderful place to stay. There were 6 of us in the two cottages and we all agreed how spectacular everything was. On arrival we were greeted by a homemade sponge cake and bottle of wine, a lovely touch. The cottages were spotlessly clean and well stocked with lots of bits and pieces. The views from the lawn were straight out of a tourism magazine and we enjoyed some beautiful sunsets. This is a great base for exploring the beaches and sights of Cardigan Bay and further. Sharon and family were very friendly and informative about places to visit and their plans for the future. We will be returning to Byre Cottages. Highly recommend you try a stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Stayed in the Old Barn, really lovely dog friendly space that had everything we needed for a relaxing few days away. Owners were really welcoming and friendly. The residential area was also fenced off with a shared garden area, that was really nice and reassuring having dogs with us.

Walls of the Old Barn were super thick too which helped keep it nice and cool in the hot weather. 👌

Lovely place to stay. We stayed in the Lakeside Caravan which I was worried might be a bit cramped for 6 of us but it was bigger than I expected and didn't feel crowded at all. The cake and wine on arrival was a nice touch and delicious. The weather did not want to play ball at all during our 4 days but that we still enjoyed looking at the animals on the farm. A short drive to Cardigan and New Quay. I even walked to Mwnt one evening which is one of the most picturesque beaches Ive ever seen. I'll definitley be back.

So happy we found Byre cottages. Stayed for a week in a Seaview caravan and absolutely loved it! Very nice and clean. Couldn't ask for a better view having a coffee in the morning, horses welcoming you, was just the best! Firepit for own use in the evening watching stars ahhhh! Animals on the farm...just love this place! Not forgetting the owners-very very friendly people! Highly recommend, although don't want to say this as I would want to keep the place as my secret destination 😉

This place became my little bit of heaven in Wales this week. Absolutely amazing place to stay, and I felt so relaxed throughout the stay. Sharon is a great host and with the personal touches that she adds you cannot but be amazed by how welcome she makes you feel. I can only but say we will be back!

We was in the caravan as this was all they had available. Would have preferred one of the cottages. The place was amazing, a complete unwinding place. The views where outstanding. The farm was very clean and has everything needed for a get away. Highly recommended

Lovely cottage with great views! Has a log burner for cosy evenings. Hosts are really helpful, left us a mulled wine and homemade mince pies!

Just perfect! Cake and wine was just the perfect added touch ! Cannot praise this lovely couple enough for their attention to detail and effort put into making sure their guests have everything ! Pictures do not do it justice. Dog friendly also !

We stayed in the Lakeside caravan from the 4th to 11th August. It was perfect and we were disappointed it won't be available in the future 😞 We've already booked a cottage for next year..

Fantastic little get away, stayed for 2 nights and would have loved more! The home made sponge cake and bottle of wine were a lovely touch from the owners. Definitely will be returning

A fantastic little cottage fitted out to a really good standard with a nice setting close to the coastal path.... Be aware if you don't like reversing that the drive leading to the farm and cottages does not have any passing places

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everything was nice and peaceful and enjoyed exploring the area.
