I had coffee and some snacks and they were amazing and tasty, mainly I took crispy calamari and house Fry's

Fantastic meal at La Rocca the pizza and linguine were just perfect. The calamari was just a little chewy,but the flavor was spot on. Cocktails were fantastic 👌🏼

Have nothing bad to say at all! All I can say is amazing!! Food was perfect so delish the lasagna was the best I have ever tasted so much to choose from and very quick service! and our waitress (gina)was so lovely and helpful we live an hour away and it was definitely worth the travel will 100% be back! Thank you!

This place is amazing! From the staff, to the atmosphere, to the food, one cannot fault this restaurant. Service is efficient, effective and friendly. The vibe is calming, not overwhelming, yet intriguing, as part of this includes the location of Cheddar, which in itself is breathtaking, of course. Now, to the food. Don't judge the menu or Google pictures. It is full, it is scrumptious, and it is incredibly flavourful! Well worth its (short) wait. Loved every bite, of separate orders of pizza and pasta, that my partner and I shared. Highly recommend!! All and every thumbs up

Really lovely restaurant and excellent food. They were fully booked on the night we went and there was 13 of us. Service was excellent, very professional and friendly. Wonderful choice of food on the menu. All the food was fresh, well cooked and presented on hot plates. Sadly, had no room left for deserts, but hopefully, next time. The premises were well decorated, clean and had a lovely friendly atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning next time I visit my relatives.

This is a wonderful authentic restaurant. The food portions are large and the food is amazing. Freshly cooked by some great chefs and served by fabulous waitresses. Lovely atmosphere with friendly locals.

Visited Cheddar gorge. Didn't fancy any of the little teashops so we went to this restaurant. We were met by two of the friendliest young girls. I am vegan and they went over and above to ensure that my food didn't lack any taste ,substituting ingredients before the order was handed to the chef. My husband and I ordered the calzone. When they came they were the size of a folded tray with an accompanying side salad with a delicious dressing. Both were packed with fresh ,tasty ingredients. Mine vegan,my husband's meat. The ambience, service and food could not be faulted. It's only a shame it is over 4 1/2 hours drive from where we live.

The food was spectacular! Everything we had was great, including the desserts. I had the duck breast, which was succulent and delicious, and the sides and sauce worked really well with it. I also recommend their cocktails!

We ordered a pizza. 12 inches. Quite filling but also stretchy dough. Not my favourite dough. Salmon risotto was great though.

The elderflower and raspberry (?) Mocktails were standard. Lived up to expectations.

One of the best restaurant in my life. The service level is the best. We got our order within 15 minutes.
All the foods was so delicious. I hope I can return here in the future.

Beautiful place to enjoy and relish Italian food. You get a range of different Pizza, lasagne, pasta and wine. The service is excellent and the portions are upto the mark and fulfilling.

I just felt the cost was a tad on the higher side as compared to other restaurants. But the quality of food negates the price.

I went to La Rocca after some recommendations and I have to admit I was not disappointed. I really enjoy my food and the service. It is by far the best food you can find I. Cheddar. It was a very long time since I have enjoyed a dinner as much as I did here. Even it is not on my way I will definitely come back to cheddar even if it is only to visit this terrific restaurant. The decoration was down to small details as well as presentation of the food. No doubt 10 out of 10.

Absolutely gorgeous restaurant. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The food is hot and fresh. Tastes nice. The atmosphere is absolutely cozy and warm. The decorations are nice although the chairs are slightly on the hard side. My family loved the place and their pizza is one of the best.

The food was delicious. We had delicious mushrooms on toasted bread followed by spaghetti carbonara & Linguine pescatore mains.

The waiting team work incredibly well together. Reflecting on our evening .. we were seamlessly looked after by 3 different (all lovely) waitresses, and our drinks were delivered by the bar tender.

Absolutely superb pizza. A gorgeous location with great staff. Fully recommend.

Good Ambiance, Verity’s of Foods and tasty. Very satisfying service and good price as well.

We had a lovely meal here on a Sunday late afternoon with our two young kids after a weekend in the Cheddar Gorge area. The food was great (especially the Antipasto Crudo sharing platter pictured!) and the service was very attentive. Good options on the children's menu too. Highly recommended and will definitely return if we're in the area again.

Love this place. Stopped in for a quick lunch and we were well looked after. Food is delicious. Carbonara and a caeser salad. Both 10/10

Well another year another meal at La Rocca Cheddar. Staff and the food was again fantastic only problem it’s another weeks gym work to work off the food. Highly recommend this restaurant and its staff. We come to Cheddar every year and this is our go to restaurant, thanks again to the team at La Rocca see you soon.
