Nic and Suzannah, the hosts, are magnificent.
The food and service/atmosphere was superb.
I would thoroughly recommend stay and dining at Callander Meadows.
And of course we need to mention their amazing dog, Fergus, who is such a good boy, and he loves his belly rubs, being the Number 1 “guest greeter” at the Meadows.

Booked a table for 6 on Saturday night. It was out first time the the restaurant, we’ve only ever had drinks in the lovely beer garden. Great experience. We all agreed the food and service was 5 star. Thank you you team Callander Meadows for looking after us. Enjoy your much deserved break. Look forward to seeing when your back open.

Table of 6 for an evening meal (set menu), didn't stay in the hotel. Really lovely evening, very relaxed vibe, fantastic food, every course a delight, host offered for us to have our teas and coffee in the stylish dining room. Value for money! Couldn't of asked for more. Highly recommend this place for dining in Callender.

Fabulous! We visited the Meadows with friends after hearing such great reviews from locals and visitors to Callander. The food was amazing. Very attentive service provided by Susannah and another nice lady. The building itself is stunning, as are the lounge and dining room. Overall a lovely experience and made to feel very welcome by the owners Nick and Susannah, we will definitely return.

There seems to be confusion here, Callander meadows is a beauty spot
In the Trossachs town of Callander. It is NOT a hotel but it is surrounded by hotels, B&B's cafes and restaurants and a myriad of great shops on the small towns main St.
It is a place of beauty, peace and tranquility. The river Teith runs through it on a very fast current to join with the greater River Forth. In summer, Callander is a very busy place and hotel rooms can be scarce indeed. The pick of the main Street hotels for me, is the long established Crown hotel. Perfectly situated, a minutes walk from the meadows, where there is excellent service and great food. This undoubted haven is only 1 hour's drive away from Glasgow off the M80 to Stirling.😊
I stand corrected but had no idea that there is indeed a B&B called Callander meadows which i shall aquaint myself with on next visit. The description of the beauty spot in my review remains unchanged so please enjoy both, marvelling at the sight of one whilst staying at the other😇

Nick & Helen are firstly great hosts, very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you! The meadows is in the heart of the national park on the main road In Callander. Next to lots of local amenities, pubs, shops etc and close to some great walk and the ‘3 lochs drive’. They have an amazing restaurant on site and nick is a highly qualified chef who produces ‘OUTSTANDING’ food! Honestly eat at the meadows you
Wont be disappointed. They have a lovely dog called Fergus so well behaved & friendly. We’d happily stay again- so why not try it for yourself?

Loved this family run restaurant. Excellent menu and a very good selection of wines. I would highly recommend Callander Meadows to anyone visiting Callander or indeed the Trossachs in general (worth the drive). Probably best to reserve your table at weekends, or high season. 10/10.

Relaxed garden seating - well spaced and some under cover. Tea, coffee, cake all good and all served from a garden shed with no need to go indoors. Friendly service. Excellent

Wonderful place to stay, the accommodation is really good and cosy. The food on offer within the restaurant is of very high quality, fresh and local foods and the pricing is very good too. Dog friendly which is really nice. Located within the town of Callander, it is a very nice place to visit.

Definitely one on the must return to list.

We walked down this awesome street and found a little passage between building so we stuck our heads around the corner and there was this gem of a garden you can sit in and order food or beer or coffee. What a great spot to sit.

We were made to feel very welcome from start to finish. Rooms were a good size and the food was of a very high standard. Lockable bike storage and off road parking a bonus.
