A real gem! Lovely atmosphere, coffee and food are delicious, good selection of snacks and lunches available, including a couple of cooked dishes rather than only snacks. All the staff were efficient and friendly. Definitely worth a visit 😊

We were asked to surprise at a wedding and worked with the fabulous team at Saltmarsh. What a fantastic location, amazing space, food and ambiance for an event, we absolutely loved it and cannot wait to go back and surprise again. Thank you so much for having us and looking after us so well, we were made to feel so welcome and our singers can't wait to come back (especially for the yummy food!). Special huge thank you to Emma from us - amazing venue.

Such a sweet place to stop with my puppy and have a break after a walk in the forest. It’s got that traditional tea room feeling. I’ll be back for more coffee which is excellent quality I left feeling re:energised..
My puppy made herself at home especially after being given a little treat. Thank you lovely staff.

Great little place to refuel. Staff are friendly and the charming courtyard has outdoor seating. Original features give the building a bunch of character (converted farmhouse).

I came to Saltmarsh today as my wife and children were going paddleboarding and I still needed to work. I came in to the café and had fantastic service from the staff members behind the counter, I was able to work in the café using their free Wi-Fi and had a few cups of coffee (which were fantastic if you're a coffee lover). If you are thinking of stopping by then I highly recommend.

What a find! My wife and I stayed this weekend and absolutely loved it. Stylish, low key decoration; expert staff and hospitality- knowledgable, friendly and welcoming but also let you get on with it and just relax. Food was delicious including the breakfast. We're both vegan and we were well catered for. LOVED the honesty bar- just a grown up way to do things! My only criticism is no bath- but lovely Emma did say they are going to try and put one in in the future. I'll definately be back

I have spent my birthday with my family at this stunning place. The rooms are extremely cozy with very very comfortable beds. Breakfast is also great as you can chose from the very complete menu of the cafe. The place is located right where all the beautiful walks to the cliffs start and it has a beautiful private garden for the guests of the hotel. The amazing hospitality of Holly really…. left us speechless. It is the perfect location to be with your dogs which are welcome everywhere and treated like Every other guest. I will surely be back very soon to visit. Vote 10 E LODE!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend here - we stayed in the Seaview room. Emma the owner is lovely and gave us great tips about the area. The location is peaceful and about 30' walk from the cliffs. Highly recommended

Great lunch of homemade quiche and salad. Green tea. Friendly service with a smile. A great place to visit for refreshments after a walk. Include this marvellous pit stop in your adventures! 🤩

Just had the most fabulous weekend stay at Saltmarsh. We were a family party of 6 celebrating my wife's special birthday. Everything was lovely! The suite was gorgeous, food excellent and service from Emma and team incredibly friendly, warm and informal.

Stayed two nights in the suite with my wife and two daughters whilst hiking Seven Sisters. From start to finish, the customer service and level of hospitality was exceptional. We had breakfast and dinner + also used the space for a post hike social for the rest of our 'Muslim Hikers' group. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!!!

A delightful spot to top off the hike to the Seven Sisters cliffs. The service was fast and polite. Recommend the burrata platter!

First time visiting this coffee shop and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was really good and prices are decent. The place must be buzzing in summer as it's located in a very beautiful area with lots of outside seating. It has car park and service was very friendly. They do sell some handmade mugs and postcards as well. Also there are vegan desert options. Would recommend visiting this cozy café.

Wonderful drink and cake in the cafe. Polite staff, clean and tidy. I can highly recommend the Biscoff tiffin cake!
