Royal Standard

A nice local pub. 5 of us ate here for Mother’s Day lunch. Fantastic value for money. Great service by Mark and his team. Thoroughly recommend this pub for a drink or food at very reasonable prices.

Visited the Royal Standard recently as popped up to meet some friends. I must say the place had a really great atmosphere, the bar staff were chatty & friendly, especially Becky! We ordered various nibbles from the menu as didn’t feel hungry enough for a large meal - but the food was delicious & arrived promptly. Shame we don’t live nearer the place or we’d be visiting much more often! Thank you for having us - we’d highly recommend this place! You can always rely on a Greene King but the additional warm welcome really tops it off!

I've been coming here for food and football recently it's a really friendly pub. The locals are so friendly and accepting and the staff go out of their way to give good service. The food is consistently made to a high standard and delivered quickly, I recommend to everyone 👌 also lots of things going on, like quiz nights, live bands etc

We came for lunch today with my son. Stupidly I didn't book a table (on mothers day and football day) but the gentleman who worked there was absolutely amazing, kind and helpful <3 thank You! Also thanks for the Chef who cooked our tasty food a bit earlier then he/she should've as we were early :D

Excellent service from Becky. Lovely friendly waitress with loads of charisma. X food was very good. We will definitely return.

Royal standard in Camberley. Omg! We both had burger and chips, well worth the money! I don't think it was expensive at all and I'm sure they honered the blue light card? We have gone there for this meal twice now and I will be returning for a 3rd! No other place compared to the Royal standard. Lovely staff even with our baby kicking up a fuss and lovely venue! Me and my family got wings to share as a starter, while i got a chicken katsu, the chicken wings were very tasty, and with a great portion size, the chicken katsu and perfectly crunchy chips and fresh peppers that lit my mouth on fire XD. The service was very friendly and polite.

We popped in after finishing shopping for uniforms and the staff her were very friendly. Food was delivered very quickly and tastes amazing. Very reasonably priced too. Will definitely come here again.

Another throughly enjoyable lunch at this great local pub. The ale is well kept and served correctly, which I enjoyed immensely. This was followed by a straightforward British classic of Ham, Eggs and Chips. Generous slices of ham, topped with a perfectly cooked egg (non of this Pineapple nonsense here) served with crispy chips and peas. All served up by the friendly staff run by the talented Landlord, Mark. I would recommend this pub to anyone looking for a decent pint and a flavoursome bite to eat, should you find yourself hungry.

This is an awesome pub, great location and wonderful staff. Nothing was too much for them, even down to replacing a steak that was a little too rare for the medium rare we ordered. Came back perfect. I had a nice sample of an ale.
Food was tasty, well worth the price.
I cannot fault this place nor the staff. Amazing!

Guys, forget anyone who gives less than 4 or 5 stars. The pub keeps it right. Customer-focused experience. Food is delicious, a lot of it and cheap. I never left hungry. Staff is not just nice... They treat you like you have been there a thousand times already. They accept discount cards, got deals, do live music, events and more. If I owned a pub, I'd want it to be like Royal Standard.

Finished our evening off here after a show in Camberly at the weekend. WOW what a place. The pub was actually alive and I mean ALIVE. But knew it was going to be good because the car park was practically full!. Had a lovely well presented burger and chips tasted great. The staff were welcoming which only added to the great atmosphere. We will be back 30th September but going to park my car before going to the show lol if they dont mind.

Excellent sports pub, perfect for watching the football over a few pints. Food is really tasty and suburb value. Staff are very friendly and service is spot on. It even has EV charging stations in the car park.

I choose this pub out of several in the area because the food and drink is to my liking, and up to the early evening it's not too busy.
There is a good menu and a fair selection of draft beers. That's as far as I go but the bar looks well-stocked.
I've stayed after 8pm a couple of times where the clientele has become a bit loud for me, but I'm pretty ancient. I'm sure it's fine for younger folk.
There is parking at the back for about 30 cars. And there is a local carpark at the back of the Frimley Road shops too.
Certainly I would recommend a visit.
