Brilliant little Italian Bistro. A table for three on a Saturday evening before taking the 11pm ferry to Dieppe. Service welcoming, good-humoured, and attentive. Food was great, portions impressive, bottle of house red very nice. Excellent job, Luna Rossa - thank you.

Stumbled across this place whilst waiting for a ferry crossing to Dieppe . This really is a wonderful, traditional Italian delight of a restaurant ! The food was amazing and very good value for money , service was great and so much pride taken in giving a good service.
If you are planning on catching a ferry from Dieppe - I would highly recommend adding in time for a visit to this place

Great find in the middle of Newhaven. Typical Italian restaurant with rather authentic flavours and recipes from Italy. Fish meals taste fresh and rich, very well presented too. Loely selection of puddings. Service is very kind and attentive. Recommended.

I've have frequented this Restaurant many times over the years when I visit my friend who is a local resident. Each time I'm consistently pleased with all the components. However on my most recent visit it was elevated to the fact that I was served by a young man, Shane, who not only approached me with enthusiasm but he was knowledgeable of the menu. He is an exemplary representative of this Restaurant. Well done Shane. Thank you.

Lovely menu and specials board ,Lots of choices to suit everyone ,food was excellent and very tasty, service was top notch along with a great friendly atmosphere,just over £80 for four of us including drinks main meal and dessert 🍨 well worth the money , we will definitely be back 😋

Off the main , road with private parking, real Italian owner-chef, proper pizza, definitely recommend, they do also nice fish soup, pizza was delicious, nice base, friendly staff

We went on a Thursday night last week after 9 pm as we were recommended by somebody local who rung ahead to make sure we got a table. We were greeted by a lovely young man who was very welcoming and happy to serve us . Sadly these days good service is hard to find. We had a bottle of red wine which was very nice and two bowls of salmone pasta which was one of the best we had tasted. We eat out normally in London or Brighton area's so that shows you how much we enjoyed our food here. We will definitely like to return to this little gem in Newhaven.

The calamari diavlo is one of the greatest calamari’s I’ve ever had the meat pizza and luna rossa spaghetti were amazing aswell

It was a bit quiet as we visited on a Tuesday. Good quality pizza. Might ask for a well done next time as the dough was a bit pale. Service was great. Didn't get the name of the person serving, he was great. Impressive selection of rum. One day we might have a tasting session with the owner?

Fantastic lobster tortellini starter followed by delicious rolled and stuffed chicken breast washed down with a super house red Sangiovese. Rosario a lovely host and lovely young waiting staff. Faultless and highly recommended! Consistently good food and presentation. Lovely host and staff.

What a find! Great little family run restaurant in Newhaven. Really friendly and great menu, lots of dishes you won't find on your bog standard Italian. The calzone is to die for, Italian sausage and tomato, with a big pocket of proper ricotta. Been here a few times now, really glad we found it. Parking close by, and the marina opposite, nice for a little walk to let your food go down. Recommended 👍🏼👍🏼
