ALDI

Started going to Aldi more often now for certain products that we've tried and found they are very good value. The middle aisle has some good bargains which change weekly. They now have some self checkouts which are handy if you haven't got a lot of shopping so saves you having to wait behind those who have done a big shop.

I'm not one of the local yuppies who like to complain about customer service rather than getting shopping for much cheaper prices than elsewhere. I come for my shopping. It's easy to park, I do my shopping and leave. No complaints about staff customer service because I really don't care in the face of great prices. Plenty of other people on here seem to forget about that and expect 5 star customer service from a cut-price supermarket. Stupid people with their first world problems everywhere I suppose.

Great small shop place 💓 come either a proper mess from the PureGym or with a security guard like Kate Moss. Iconic Hinge swiping hotspot for those who are still looking for your other half x

I love shopping at the Aldi near Ancoats. Plenty of quality stock, good prices and really helpful staff (I'm disabled). Thoroughly recommended.

Aldi Ancoats is very spacious and got a great variety of groceries. Really enjoy shopping there.

Pop in here several times a week. Staff are always happy and it's always clean and tidy. Wish they had a bakery but I'd probably gain even more weight so maybe not. Haha

Great prices, and it is always fully stocked, other than one exception, but there was a good reason, it was a zombie apocalypse so the public were bulk buying, actually it was just a bank holiday but people over react as usual. Staff are always friendly and helpful despite being incredibly busy. They all do an amazing job.

Good place for local shopping. Roads can be a nightmare sometimes but if you are able to walk the distance there is plenty of scenery along the canal nearby. Basic, cheap, that's ALDI.

I love this Aldi. Gets all the best and new ranges. Yeah, it’s Hipster Aldi. Staff are always great and friendly; consistent team. Very happy shopping here, even if prices have been increasing due to CoL.

Great store ideally located near the Northern Quarter.
Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, especially the security guard.
It's so much easier now they have self service tills to the right of the main staffed tills.

Cheap. Not too busy. Got new self serve tills. Definitely an improvement. Always has a lot random stuff to see in the middle. It changes it a lot so don't miss out. You've got things from cycling gear, beauty products, sleeping and beds products and cookware. Always a good price and usually good quality.
