I ordered twice in one day, using two different addresses by mistake & sent a message asking for one postage to be refunded & both orders sent to the second address provided.. No problem at all & dealt with straight away. Would definitely buy from them again. My daughter loves her LeMeiux bargains she bought at sale prices for her & her pony.

Delighted with black Ariat barnyard short ( jodphur) boots .
So comfortable and supportive.
My brown ones are used ao much walking the dog , Im keeping the black for general use .With severe Arthritis in both feet, these are the only footwear that enable me to walk.
Otherwise, the usual top class service, as is part of the DNA at Houghton Equestrian.

Had everything my daughter wanted, seems like a wide stock for all your equestrian needs.

We went back for a body protector fitting, the staff were super helpful with the fitting and super nice which always helps.

Popped back in today for boots and a new baselayer, again staff super helpful.

Updated 23/02/23. Popped in with daughter for new base layer. Sale was on, some decent reductions.

Update 27/07/23. Called into pick up a click and collect order. Ended up also buying baselayer, silk, socks and a whip. Super friendly helpful staff.

Went in for a riding helmet measurement as I needed one, unfortunately the staff member couldn’t find a tape measure so she suggested we try on a few sizes to find the right one told her the make I was after and after she went to the back and came out with a few helmets and after a short try on fitting we found the right one, she boxed it up and straight to the till. Would highly recommend the place to my friends your staff are friendly and professional thank you

Superb service! Ordered a bridle, unfortuntely when it arrived (very quickly) it didn't fit. I returned and it was received the next day and the new size was immediately dispatched and received (on a Sunday) within 48 hours of the return. I think from original order to receiving the replacement size was only about a week. Could not fault the service and have already shopped since!

Great Service, in the past I have ordered a prolite girth and also a Le Mieux Jacket.
Both arrived very quickly and in good packaging. I will order here again if needing any equestrian bits, they also have discount codes available which help them stay price competitive.

This beautiful store is always stocked with a wide range of everything a horse and rider could want and need. The staff are always incredibly helpful and I haven’t got one complaint to give. Thank you Houghton County x

Went to the shop today to buy my partner a new coat for her birthday, the young lady behind the till was extremely helpful! Both her and I assume I think the Lady owner went to great lengths to tell me about different coats and what’s on sales that wasn’t on the shop floor. They managed to get a coat brought over from their wearhouse while I was away that was perfect.

My friend and I made the trip from Cumbria to shop at this store, it's got EVERYTHING and the staff were friendly and helpful. I was delighted with my purchases and when i rang to inquire about a possible return they were happy to accept this via post to save me the drive. Will definitely be back - there is still a show jacket and hat with my name on it!

I bought some boots in December which became faulty in November
Houghton staff were amazing and very quick to resolve my issue. They were made aware of the issue on Monday and I had a new pair of boots by the Wednesday

Aa far as anything equestrian goes, whether it be riding or getting up to your knees in dung, they have anything you could need.

cannot fault this place, placed an online order at 4pm yesterday, said was due to come via royal mail but came before 10am today with dpd!! very unexpected but very happy with the products 😄😄😄😄

Just about one of the most amenable & lovely companies I have ever ordered from online. Fast responses from real people. Also sorting out an issue for me (which was 100% my own fault not theirs) :-)

My first time visiting today and I absolutely loved it! All the staff are so helpful and kind and really friendly. So much gorgeous stock to choose from and love the layout of the the shop really easy to find everything and very organised. Had a lovely chat with the staff and I will be back many times I'm sure also love the reward points scheme x

Lovely staff, very helpful. Loads of choice in products and price range. Only thing missing is a corner where you could sit and have a drink. As most of the time people will travel from a bit away to visit a shop like this. I think it would help keep customers in longer which of course means more sale....
