I Rung to confirm they had material in stock that I needed to complete a project at home before the rain, spoke to a young man , Harry who could not have been more polite and helpful he even physically checked to make sure they had what I wanted! I arrived and Picked everything up at the collection point from helpful staff. Many thanks see you again soon

Visited on Saturday 3rd and dealt with Jack and Richard in regards to wood and getting things cut they were helpful and cheerful, great asset to your firm. Very pleasant shopping experience.

Nice, big, clean store but not enough staff. Didn't have what I wanted but parking is free and plenty of it.

What great customer service in this B&Q ! We have recently moved into a new house so have spent some time in this store purchasing a range of items. As we were not familiar with the store layout we needed help finding items on some occasions and the staff were friendly, and helpful.Particular thanks and praise to Connor who went out of his way to help us on a number of occasions and to Adam who helped us buy colour matched paint and was particularly helpful in making sure we were confident that we were buying exactly what we needed for the job we were doing.The checkout team were efficient, extremely friendly and made the whole experience in store something pleasant, rather than a diy chore. Great customer service Hall Road team , these customers left your store with everything we needed and a smile on our face , so thank you for a job well done.

Had a really good experience with a lovely lady called Debbi who was extremely helpful and very personable. I have anxiety and hate shopping but she made me feel confident.

A compact version of its bigger brother the opposite side of the city but this one is so much easier to get to and has so far had everything I've needed to get

Arrived yesterday afternoon at B&Q looking for some wall instillation and met the most helpful staff member called Meg who not only showed me where and what it was I needed, but she even then so kindly helped me carry it to my car and put it in! (It was quite big for the smart car I drive!) with her help we did it! She was so helpful, polite, and friendly! Really impressed with your staff B&Q!

Went in to get some paint mixed. Was served by a very patient paint mixologist (thought this was a ‘sexier’ title than paint mixer), who waited whilst I faffed around working out finishes and quantities needed. She warned it make take three coats, which it did but looks blooming marvellous. The paint machine operative (see what is did there?) stuck the paint chip to the tin, blinding idea. B and Q make sure everyone does this!

Wanting to build 5 work desks, I visited Hall Road B&Q to buy three sheets of OSB / Plywood. B&Q have a great timber cutting service, so thought I could take down my dimensions and have the sheets cut.
Mo went above and beyond at the end of his day to cut the sheets, he was very helpful, friendly and had a positive attitude.
He wanted to understand the reasons for the cuts, so could also recommend a better suited product.
Would recommend.

They are giving out free masks at the entrance to those who don't have one. Shop assistant we talked to knew which aisle things were in from memory allowing us to ask him a few questions and get exactly what we needed very quickly. Good social distancing and available hand sanitiser.

Having had a disastrous visit to the other Nch B&Q yesterday, went to this one for insulation today. No comparison. Staff actively seeking to be helpful, clearly working as team, can-do attitude, escorting you to the aisle you're looking for, product knowledge in evidence, age & gender diversity with longer- serving staff taking new members under their wings & keeping things moving. No one sighing at you when you ask a question. Just a much nicer place to go for plants and DIY. Restored my faith in B&Q brand. 🙂🏆

Extremely helpful staff who went the extra mile to assist a disabled person to organise the items needed to adapt a household item for easier use. This helpful attitude included the checkout operators who aided in the purchase of such goods even opening additional checkouts to other customers. Really pleasent buying experience.
