I went to this store last night the young man on the post office was very welcoming and helpful sending my parcels

Staff have been amazing during these hard times. Keeping everyone safe in and out of the shop and also stocking shelves. Big Thank you all👍

Does this place have a manger? Poor woman called Barbara was running round like a headless chicken in a very busy shop. She was fantastic by the way. Shop was busy, not enough staff, post office shut again! Just overall felt very sorry for her. Kid in glasses who works there. He needs guidance and whilst Barbara was doing a great job dealing with customers who can train/help him.. Come on manager if you are there...work the busy shifts hey!

Had a delivery from here today sausages with todays date squashed and all sweaty in the pack with a funky smell coming from them bananas brown and split looked as if they had been taken out of the bin rang the store think I was speaking to a 12 year old absolutely useless and not willing to redeliver what I’d actually paid for disgusting shop last time ordering online from here .

One star is not low enough. My daughter went to send a parcel off today and was served by an elderly man between 50-60 years old who refused to send her parcel off. When she explained to him that she had pre-paid for a large letter he started to shout at her being extremely rude and overall disgusting. She is now scared to go there again and came home very upset over this. Neither of us will go here again because of him and I suggest someone should speak to him about his behaviour as this is not the first time I have heard about how ill-mannered and unprofessional this man is. It is a shame, as the young man who normally serves her is very lovely and professional.

Went into McColls on Altway today to post a parcel, there was an elderly lady at the front being served by a man in his 50’s/60’s who was speaking to her like she was a piece of dirt on the bottom of his shoe.. i don’t know what it was over but he shouting at her something awful.. it was disgusting she was so so embarrassed! 2 customers in the shop stood up and told him to stop speaking to her like that, he continued and no apology was given.. lovely lady also behind the till served her and helped her. There was NO need for the way he spoke to her, she was a frail elderly lady who has probably shopped there for years and I imagine probably won’t shop there again, and neither will I! I have heard quite a few people complain about him and the way he’s spoken to them. He needs to be spoken to, don’t work in retail if you don’t have the patience to help people out!

1 star not low enough. Came in with genuine ID, was made to feel ridiculed by arrogant, rude staff. Granted the picture was old but the employees attitude was disgusting and she needs to seriously improve on her customer service skills. She has dark hair, short about 50. She clearly has a chip on her shoulder and would recommend any drinks store before this one!!!

Incredibly rude and arrogant staff. I was served by a woman and a man on a Saturday who were extremely condescending and made my experience as inconvenient as possible.
1 star is not low enough. Management should really rethink the sort of people they allow to work here.

Woman with the black bob (maybe 50s??) is so rude, got screamed at for trying to buy alcohol (with a valid ID), when I asked her why she proceded to kick me out of the shop. Definitely will not be going there again, no need to have an attitude that bad. Seems like she's having some sort of power trip.

Post office is always closed and its always the same excuse!! We don't have the staff working!!

Michael is a pleasure in the shop but there is one woman, shes short and mid 40's looking. Really bad attitude and speaks horribly to customers. Puts a real bad image to the shop.

ive had a bad experience with the shop today i decided to visit my girlfriend who works in the shop and i went in bought a drink and waited outside and then all of a sudden i got stared at like i was a piece of dirt every minute of the time i was stood there waiting i got stared at and my mental health started to kick off and then i left to try and calm down my mind told me to look back and i saw a woman in her 50s small with a black bobble in her hair standing outside the shop still staring at me you lucky i cant give no stars as i would and i said hi to her to be friendly and she completely ignored me when she knew i was talking to her

Seriously what is the point of this shop, its never open anymore, I just walked around now because new opening times says it shuts at 2pm and it's shut, it's not even 1pm yet. Might as well just shut it completely and let someone else open a shop that will actually be open during the day.
