Since the self service checkouts have been installed the queues are much better. You can get most basics and a few treats. The vegetarian and gluten free stuff is lacking sometimes but usually its fine

This place is great the store staff are really helpful. I had a problem at the self service checkout machine , my items weren’t being picked up by the scanner. The guy who was supervising the self serve machines was strait on the problem & sorted it out straight away without me asking for help & even gave me the reason why the machine wasn’t recognizing the products. I thought it was my fault & I was doing something wrong while scanning my items, it turned out to be the machines fault. so I left there felling good about my scanning skills & the quickest staff member I’ve had the pleasure to interact with so far at an Aldi Supper store . The security staff at the door didn’t even check me as I walked out the self service checkout area
When the alarm went off due to the pull basket trolley I was using going past the sensor , the sensor picked up the trolly going past the self serve exit areas . I looked around the store to see what was happening as you would when an alarm goes off to make sure you haven’t done anything wrong or your in some type of oncoming dangerous situation due to crime or something. The supervisor told me why the alarm went off & the security guy looked at me on the way out & left me alone . so he was vigilant & watching what was going on around his stations , great job security guy . You don’t get many security guards like this most would of made the choice of grabbing you on the way out or outside the shop & embarrass you in front of everyone & to checkout if you’ve got the products on your receipt & you’ve not got anything on you shouldn’t have or try & make you feel like your a thief when you know you are innocent shopper & you know you haven’t done anything wrong (unlike Lidl down the road) . Yeah so well done to him .
I was standing outside the shop & there was an amazing guy sat down playing his guitar & singing a great song. he played really really well & he’s a great singer with a great singing voice & great choice of music he wasn’t harassing anyone going in out of Aldi either which is good too.
You know what , I really liked hearing a live singer & music outside the shop as it makes for a pleasant entrance & exit experience , yeah that was great. If your just waiting around or sorting out your shopping list or having a soft drink or talking to your friends , a guitarist,singer & a live song is a great thing to make your shopping experience even better than the usual mundane shopping experience. Thanks to the shop for letting him sit there & make everyone’s day with his pleasant awesome live music & great talent. If u see this guy & you have a heart you might wanna give a little something to him he’s a great character with a great talent & he’s really caring & will give you some great supportive words & thanks for your help .
I rate Aldi & the excellent sounds of the singer guitarist very high & recommend them both to every shopper in the surrounding area around the top of Lawrence hill church road . Sorry I haven’t got a photo of of the singer guitarist as I thought it might be a bit of invasion of privacy so I didn’t ask him for a selfie , you’ll see him when he’s there & hear his great music .
Aldi should let him play all the time thanks Aldi for this awesome experience this day .

I am a tesco customer, it was my first time experience at Aldi, I was amazed to look at the price difference we had between Tesco's and Aldi. We took a whole cart of groceries at a very reasonable price. I can say it was almost half the prices.

I recently had the pleasure of shopping at Aldi for the first time and I am beyond impressed with the quality and selection of products. The store was incredibly clean and organized and the prices were unbeatable. I was able to get all of my groceries for much less than I normally pay at other stores. The staff was also friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Aldi to anyone looking for a great shopping experience.

Your usual Aldi, great for everything

Great deals and good food. Shame about the drunk people sprawled outside the entrance, with an almost entitled look that you will give them something and if you don't you are made to feel bad. Stops me and others from going in and spending money.

The experience I had was very good. Got there just as it opened and all the shelves were shacked, so I was able to get all the things I wanted.

Nice and quiet early evening just a few empty spots on the shelves, but straight to the till no queues. Friendly cashier too

I always share my shopping visits with Aldi. Like Lidl I always buy their gala apples...beautiful! I like those little surprises I sometimes find, and wouldn't find anywhere else, if I tried looking. Who doesn't love to walk into Aldi and browse? You're bound to leave with something.

it's fine, straightforward. can be low on stock after peak times which is understandable

Awesome pricing. It's possible to get a weeks shopping for as little as £35, even without having to cut back on alot of items. Toilet roll, fresh food and freezer stuff/camping. They pretty much have everything youd need.

Absolutely amazing, best free car parking experience I've ever had. The bays have ample space and plenty of reversing room available. Very happy customer, must pop in the store one day.

What's not to like. Great selection, great value. Hard working staff. With the current rise in costs, these places are making it easier to survive

Nice place to shop

Covid aware establishment. Not too busy. Slight queue's at the tills, but more were then opened. Good quality items at affordable prices. New ranges are appearing now Christmas is on the horizon. Polite and friendly staff who are always happy to help. Highly recommended store.

Go mid week and early to beat the queues, and fully stocked shelves! Also feels safe as hygiene stations at the entrance and exit. Plenty of parking and cheap to boot. What more do you want?!
