Must be a different shop that others comment about. I have always found owner and staff to be perfectly ameable and helpful

Most of the bad reviews here seem to be about the parcel service. I don't know anything about that, but as a shop it is a good one and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The fuel available (unleaded/diesal) is quite reasonablely priced also there's a wide items available inside the 'mini mart' Tesco's from fresh produce bread, fruit etc...again reasonably priced. I've never waited over 5 minutes in a que staff are always friendly an will open extra tills to cope if busy period develops. Always pleasant, experience in a handy location

Doesn’t accept Hermes parcels on Sundays or anytime after 2 pm.

Arrived to drop my parcel off at the shop at the time stated on the ‘Evri’ website and also at the time the shop website said it would be open. Spoken to rudely, by an extremely ignorant shopkeeper and sent on my way, still with my parcel! Wish I’d read the other reviews about this inconvenience store, before I made the journey there!

Awful customer service, Hermes parcel system is a joke, last visit Machine wasn't working, visited again and told wasn't printing, visited again at 2pm one day after printing my own label and told rather bluntly that they don't take parcels after 1Pm which is not highlighted or published anywhere either locally or via Hermes web sites. Had to make the 5 mile roundtrip walk again the day after. Very rude staff always have issues with something. Amateurs & this was the place one of the staff beaten a customer with a sign after thinking he could get COVID from his dog !!!!

Price on hand written label is overridden by the price on the product. When confronting (who I presume is the son) he took great pleasure in telling me I am wrong. The family are usually polite but he lets the shop down.

Edit: They also don't take Hermes parcels after collection time (whenever that is) because they won't store them overnight. Not sure if this is a practice endorsed by Hermes but I somehow doubt it.

Came in the shop to drop off my Hermes parcel but got knocked back as they said driver already been and they cannot keep parcels overnight. Was advised that could drop it off in the morning from 06:30am.

Came back at 06:45 am and when the door opened the bell sounded but no one came out. A few minutes later he popped his head from round the corner, looked at me, said nothing and just carried out stacking the shelves. Waited another minute then went round the corner to ask if they were open. He said Parcel then said 5 minutes, mumbled something then carried on with the shelves.

So I left as found his extremely rude. I will not be ever going into the shop again. I am very surprised they are still in business.

Went to drop off a parcel to be collected by My Hermes. Guy scanned it and told me to throw it on the floor. I asked if it would be safe there, given that I was in the shop for some minutes before he appeared.....was met by a torrent of abuse and told to take my parcel elsewhere. So I picked up my parcel only to be confronted by a guy from the back holding some sort of stick demanding that I give him the receipt back, by this time he was blocking the door. Anyhow, went to phone the police and he let me out. Not a good experience, I advise you to go elsewhere !!

The owner was very rude to the customer in front of me, told him to come back tomorrow he wouldn't hold an amazon parcel overnight to be returned so we both walked out disgusted.
Avoid this place.

Terrible experience. Hit my partner on the back of the legs with a piece of wood. Stood at the door with my dog's. Police investigating. They will be charged.

Rude and condescending behavior from the impolite man at the till, avoid at all cost!
