A great team of instructors and staff. We’re always made to feel welcome, have loads of fun be it for a paddle boarding session or a coffee… and cake. Thank you to the team

Thank you to all the staff. They couldn't be more helpful. From blowing up our paddle boards to short lessons for those of us who were beginners. Would reccomend to anyone wanting to have a day on the lake with SUPS or canoes.

Wow what an amazing day doing canoing, kayaking and eating in amazing cafe abi e. So family friendly and lovely staff and let us have extra time at no charge as quiet. 3 children went paddle boarding on their own on a giant one so easy to balance. Best time ever thanks so much

What a fab FREE (donation if you want to and certainly worth it) morning on a treasure hunt ,trying to unlock the treasure chest ..bouncy castles..pirate ship ride .. awesome refreshments purchased from the shop , circus skills items to try ..so if you didn't go you really missed a brilliant time

We visited as a family of 5 hoping to do some playing about on the water on a grey Monday in October not holding out much hope of anything being available.

HOWEVER!! The staff at the boathouse went above and beyond to cater for our wants & needs. My daughters were kitted up in wetsuits & ready to paddle board in minutes & my husband & son were swiftly out on the water in a dragon boat.

Lee was so friendly & helpful even using his boat to help my youngest daughter reach the calmer side of the lake.

I cannot recommend a visit to the lakeside boathouse enough!!

Popped into the Boathouse to grab a coffee and met with a smile from Donna!

She was incredibly helpful and lovely to speak with, although we are local it was a lovely experience as we hadn’t been to Llandrindod in a while, there were three seating pods outside overlooking the lake as well as blankets which were free to borrow!

Will definitely be recommending to everyone, rain or shine😊

We had a fantastic day taking some students from the Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford. Lee and the staff all went above and beyond to make the day memorable. Our students participated in rafting, kayaking and paddle boating.

Owners very community minded. Events held here often for benefit of children and wider local community.

Donna was an absolute delight! she was so funny and welcoming! had a great laugh with her whilst looking around the shop & feeding the ducks. great coffee too!😍

Staff were really helpful, many thanks! Helped us with getting a puppy onto the paddle board and they sorted us out with a dog life jacket too. Easy recommendation if you're in the area and like being on the water.

Thank you Lee for a fab afternoon! We loved the lake and the dragon boat , and the kids were delighted to have a go in the speedboat, it made their day! We will definitely have to come back when it’s warmer to do more activities.

PADDLE BOARDING WAS AMAZING!

We were visiting Wales on a family holiday and decided to go to Lakeside Boathouse for a day out! This was honestly the highlight of the trip, we had so much fun paddle boarding trying out all different tricks on the boards and just having a real laugh together. The team at Lakeside Boathouse were very friendly and welcoming. I would 100% recommend a trip down to see the guys there and enjoy the fun on the lake. Loads to do, other family members went out on a kayak, pedalos and a pirate boat!

Can’t wait to come back!!!

Had a lovely morning out canoeing and paddleboarding last week! Lee was brilliant at explaining everything to us and helping us stand up on the boards. Lovely lake and surroundings. We will definitely return when we are back in Wales and do even more! Thanks!

Awesome food ...very accommodating as I have a fish allergy and they went out of their way to help.
Generous portions, very tasty burger and the Cajun chicken salad is to die for !!

Me and my family on a trip.to Wales stopped off at the lakeside boathouse to have ago at kayaking and paddle boarding .. so glad we stopped here ... the staff made our experience amazing , nothing was to much trouble and I strongly recommend if you are in the area ...

This place is brilliant love how they have put paddle boards and kyacks on the lake and dragon boats all very cheap went there on a event day the treasure hunt was alright but at the end you did not even have to crack a code you could just lift the box up but amazing place good ice cream really good
