The Co-operative Food Sidcup, The Oval

If i could do my monthly shop here i would. Staff are all extremely friendly and helpful and would completely ignore what other negative reviews have said as dont believe them to be true. Co-op should be very proud of their staff at this store

Went to this co-op today and the woman at the door was very organised and polite about the way that she was letting people in so that there were only 8 people in at once (and making sure that people were keeping their distance from each other)

Arguably the greatest coop in the South Blackfen area.

During these difficult times I understand that staff morale and stock can be low, however I had great customer service from a handsome young man and a lovely mixed race young girl. This young girl went above and beyond to help me and I really appreciate it, people like her make these times more bearable. I thank all of you for working and supporting others who are out on the front line. I can only reward a 4/5 as the customer assistant who served me was rude and unhelpful, she even threw away my receipt when I specifically asked for it.

Clean and tidy not to busy staff polite

After working all day sometimes you don’t always want to do the job of the cashier and scan your own items. Today I chose not to as last time I waited 10 minutes for a carrier bag so I went to the till to be served. The lady who served me made it very clear she didn’t want to and at the end she said ‘you should have gone to self-service’. So basically people don’t want to do their job anymore? What happened to customer service? I do my job, why should I have to do someone else’s job?
I thought it was a choice? Disappointing Coop. It’s sad no more customer service or human interaction. Staff are very unhappy there.

Didn't really see staff to interact with, one was swearing under her breath while sorting out the freezer. Oh also co-op I picked up jam filled doughnuts this morning, when did jam doughnuts become custard filled doughnuts? Was extremely disappointed when I took a bite & was hit with the disgusting taste of custard & not the sweet taste of jam, had to throw them away.

The manager of this co-op is extremely rude with the neighbors. He started to swear to the neighbors that they wanted just to pass thru the wak way but it was blocked by the trolleys and he said that he doesn't care because is their privilegeto leave them there. Please remove the MANAGER from this shop because you will get sued.

Rude staff. No smiles on their faces. I work in retail and if I treated my customers like this is be out of a job!!
Terrible coop. I will never go there again EVER!!

Myself and another gentleman went to go into the co op qlong by the oval this evening and the doors was closing at 750, where it states the shop shut at 8pm and the lady closing the store even said we shut at 8pm but still refused to let us in. This is very disappointing especially on christmas eve

Saturday morning - no fresh bread, shelf full of out of date reduced bottles of milk, forget about veg. The only products you can be sure you get there is alkohol and newspapers. Such a waste of space.
