B&Q Wednesbury

A very big store that sells everything one needs for building and DIY. I went in to buy some timber . The ones I wanted were in stock and reasonably priced. A very impressive store, easy to park and with disabled parking plus ' trade only' parking. No queue at the checkout and a burger van waiting outside 😋. A very enjoyable visit 👍😍

Fantastic support from Harry who works in ‘kitchens’ a super chap he helped me find a suitable kitchen sink and he did not hesitate to be complimentary and always with a smile. His colleague a young lady too was also very helpful she kept the packaging that was all torn which was a practical idea. I’ll look for these guys next time I return to this store my shopping experience made a whole lot easier by them.

This shop has almost everything you need to build a whole house, all the materials are avaliable. Beside you can find accessories for home and kitchen.
It is similar to Lawes or ACE in the US. However the prices are not comparable, it is much cheaper back in the states.

Parking is not an issue here. You can pay be cards or cash.

Have been using this branch as it's my local. Staff are helpful and there lots of choice. Quality products are a decent price. The wood cutting service is excellent and Trevor is the man to see not the new fella who messed up the cuts and they had to give me a complimentary section, they did this under duress. My son wanted a pirate ship light fitting that he saw by the wallpaper section, so l got it and fitted it recently. The light fitting is nice however the quality is lacking but l did pay approximately £25 as it was on offer. I certainly wouldn't have paid £40 for it. It was a headache as l had to make an extra hole in the ceiling as the bracket wouldn't align with the previous holes. Overall this is a good place and l feel it's better than Wickes as Wickes feels like it's tailored for the trade, despite the general public being allowed to use it. The refurbished public toilets are of a very high standard and l wish they stay in that condition. I recommend this branch as l have used it for over 15 years with very little to complain about.

Very big store offering lots of diy products for the casual DIYer or tradesperson. Prices seem reasonable across the store and ample staff are available. Some inspirational kitchen displays have recently been launched and worth a visit.

Peace lily purchased from B&Q. Read an article which mentioned that it can help eradicate damp and mould. Let's see. Priced at £7. It's a beautiful plant either way.

I visited here the other day and I was served by by some new guy who was clearly new, but he showed great customer service skills as did his colleagues proud some Asian guy I’m sorry I don’t know his name, what I really like was his coworkers who took the time to explain things to him in a calm collective manner they were super professional.

Extremely Good. Brilliant display of the products. Apart from buying you get innovative ideas when you get the view of their products.

After striking out at Ikea for a 3 or 3.5 m parasol we visited B&Q almost next door and hit gold with a reduced ex display model that simply needed a base, but sadly one was not in stock, so we bought it anyway :) and figured that the base would be purchased at another B&Q store. Actually we ended up buying something far superior namely a Baser base.

I have visited B&Q many times over the years. This place is one of their superstores where you can get virtually everything from tools to wallpapers, bathroom's, kitchen units to plumbing and electrical items. Well worth a visit for that garden, kitchen or bathroom project. Highly recommended.

Visited the store in Wednesbury today to purchase a new door. I have to say the young man on this section, Jak, was brilliant, so helpful and extremely pleasant. Well done Jak and thank you

Had what we needed and offered great cutting service too. Excellent personnel on this wood cutting, one being trained and the trainer, both really good. Not like this at every b and q.

I popped into the Wednesday branch last week, while Im carrying out a DIY job in my living room, I needed assistance from Trevor and I would say that I was presented with highest levels of customer service I have experienced. Answers were clear and where necessary detailed enough for me to make informed decision quickly. Trevor was brilliant from the beginning and really went the extra mile at every stage.

I would expect senior management to reward him for his excellent service that I received.

I've often pop into this branch and the service has never been this good, so his a credit to your company.

Good location with lots of parking.
Friendly knowledgeable staff with a massive range of products and delivery service if you need it! They gave us a number of dates options for our delivery of artificial grass and gravel due to not having a big enough vehicle.

Just received my delivery from B&Q Wednesbury called 10mins beforehand very pleasant delivery driver and mate would recommend this service 5 🌟

You can buy anything for the house, every thing is accessible easily, every isle is signposted, value for money and further more clean place. For the summer they have different types of plants and mostly every thing for the garden. All types of timber required for in and outside the house. Quick check out provided for card user only
