We are so lucky to have ‘Greensleeves Country Clothing’ in Hythe High street. A lovely family run shop, with very reasonable prices, full of seasonal outdoor clothing and superb footwear. I went in yesterday for a browse and ended up buying a lovely pair of butter soft leather flat shoes, they are really comfy. Whilst there, I also noticed a pair of gorgeous red leather warm ankle boots. Had to buy them! Just need some colder weather so I can wear them! I think they will be my ‘go to’ ankle boots throughout autumn/winter. The shop has just re-stocked with all their winter goods and they have some gorgeous waterproof coats - think I will definitely be paying them another visit. It is so important that we support our local shops, otherwise we will be sad when they go out of business due to lack of local custom throughout the year. Over the years I have bought lots of quality ‘outdoor style’ clothing and footwear and I can honestly say this is without doubt, the friendliest and most reasonably priced shop I have ever been to. Quality items with prices that are definitely comparable with what I have found online and because it’s a real shop on a real high street, you have the benefit of being able to go in and try before you buy.

Very nice clothes shop, the kind you don't see enough of these days. I went in recently and met the owners wife and nice and polite young son, a lovely family run business. I purchased a very nice shirt and hat. Nice selection of clothes and footwear. Good quality and reasonable prices. I shall be visiting again soon to make further purchases. I would happily recommend this establishment.

Andy at Greensleeves country clothing provides a 5* service all round. Not only is he helpful when in the shop purchasing items, his follow up care & consideration is second to none. I was staying in hythe for the weekend and popped into his shop to purchase some boots. Once getting home to Essex and wearing them a couple of times I noticed some of the stitching had started to come undone. This was at no fault to Andy or the items quality, it was a manufacturing fault with 'Dublin'. I called Andy to see what I could do as I was not local to the area to pop in and exchange them and after contacting Dublin themselves, they told me I would have to go to the stockist. Within 24 Hours Andy had me brand new pair of boots sent out to my home address at no extra cost and he covered the postage cost himself. He kept in constant communication with me to update me on their whereabouts and could not have provided a better service. Unfortunately due to royal mail strikes and a delay in postage I didnt receive them for an extra couple of weeks, they then got returned to sender (Andy) and again within 24 hours at his own cost, re posted them to me. The boots have now been received and I am delighted. I wished I lived closer so I could visit this shop more frequently. I have large stockists of similar items near where I live but I would much prefer to give my money to a small business like this one that provides care, attention and a happy shopping experience. I will be staying in touch for anything I need going forward and will be making a trip back down to Hythe purely to purchase again from this shop. Wonderful little place with a wonderful owner :)

Went in to browse initially, was pleasantly surprised at the prices and quality of clothing/footwear on offer. I tried on a long waxed coat, but a bit too big. Andy ordered another coat in my size, and called me when it arrived. Honestly, give this place a try, nothing is too much trouble, and the service is second to none.
