The staff are friendly, polite and really helpful, sometimes understaffed but will always try to help

Would give zero stars if I could. Absolute joke of a shop. Staff are rude and ignore you. Stood in the line for 18 minutes with staff ALL out the back chatting. Then the next day for 25 minutes. Post office is even slower than the shop. Zero management presence and staff are so poorly trained and slow. AVOID THIS SHOP! Staff are just lazy and spend the whole time talking and not serving customers.

No self checkout service and only one person serving the food shopping customers and the post office til at same time, so even if you just want to buy a bottle of milk you end up in a long queue of people using postal service! Absolute poor shopping experience, in future I’ll stick with Tesco round the corner which has self service check out tills and no post office queue to stand in!

A staff who happened to be an elderly one amongst the staffs attended to me at the Post Office recently. She was extremely rude to me in the presence of others in the queue. She wasn’t doing me a favour for serving me as she gets paid from my custom. It’s appalling. Some of them are nice though and some need retraining

Very rude staff! Went there this morning and they treated my 4 years old son like he is a dog! He got a bag of sweets he wanted to pay and the woman on the till said can you get him to stand next to you in a very rude attitude when I was waiting on the next till for the post office!

The staff here spend their time moaning about how miserable they are in their jobs, and that they don’t get paid enough and hate it there.

Overcharged numerous times. Sold out of date stock and not issued with receipt as till was out of paper. Can’t get through to shop on the phone. Complained to head office. Absolutely shocking!! Avoid!!

I went in this shop sunday evening and had to tell.one of the workers to keep.her 6 foot.distance, I said do you no what's going on in the world and she was just cheeking , saying yes I was and another lady in the shop a customer said no your not watching what your doing you brushed my arm in the door way coming in ,you want to go in the shop feeling safe when your out , well you defo cant going in this store !

Absolute joke. Staff in there are from other McColl stores at times and dont always know where things are. Get a permanent staff and stop rotating people around like livestock.

Prices displayed are not prices you pay. They are 'member' prices. Very misleading for general public. Avoid
