I shop here a lot and the staff are always friendly and helpful. They stock lots of useful things for the house as well as essentials. With no big supermarket in walking distance this shop has saved my bacon many times.

Very convenient place, lots of food and things for the house also such as cleaning brushes, some stationary, etc. Really friendly and kind staff also. Definitely recommend!

On a Saturday i went there TO buy beer BRAND-DESPERADOS and the Price what i Tell is total honesty.

3£ for 1 HALF LITER CAN Desperados.

And i Tell him like i travel a lot around UK and 3£ is BOMB for 1 half Liter MilkyMilk.

Don’t bother sending your parcels here to be collected as the bloke behind the counter simply refuses to give you the items despite providing the relevant documentation and proof of purchases. Along with a photo of the item being delivered to the location by the courier. Essentially stealing.

As a visitor to the village I used this store several times when I first arrived and have to say that I was made to feel that I was an annoyance on every single occasion - tutted at when passing my groceries over at the till, my groceries pretty well thrown down on the counter and left where I could barely reach them to pack them, and then male 'staff' members deliberately standing directly in front of me as I tried to leave - fairly unpleasant and left me feeling unsafe. The crowning affair was my being asked to pay twice by someone who tried to tell me that my payment hadn't been taken when I could clearly see the statement on the machine that said that the transaction was complete. I challenged this apparently 'failed' transaction and magically it resolved itself before I was able to pull up my account details that showed that the payment had been taken. Beware. While I'll not go so far as to publicly suggest that this was dishonesty without evidence, it's certainly extreme incompetency if it's not an attempt at straightforward theft, and, if this is a behaviour that they practice regularly it could well cost you money! Other than this I'd say that customer service is definately not their strong suit. I switched my business to the other local shops for the remainder of my stay and felt both safer and more welcomed.

Absolutely rude and unprofessional staff, they do nothing to assist or make your experience plesent. My friends 4 year old daughter was buying sweets to learn to be independent, they couldn't even look at her let alone speak and passed the change to me. I have a disability and they go out of their way to make things difficult. I try to avoid giving them my buisness, I would rather go to the dentist than shop here.

Extremely rude staff, they hate doing parcel pick ups and lottery checks! Snatch ur tickets to check them and give you a look when handing you money, guess they not happy as ur not spending in their shop. Experienced this several times.

Brought milk from their days ago and noticed ive been using and giving my baby out of date milk!! Always check the dates before paying they even sell out of date meats cheaper which i find horrible ! They need shutting down or they need sorting out by environmental health

Went to pick up a package this morning note on door closed for 5 minutes which I imagine was for the man behind the counter to use the toilet turned up 15 minutes later, I was first in but he couldn't figure out how to scan the package so just left it and proceeded to serve the rest of the shop before coming back to me. What's the point of having a service if you are unable to deliver it wish I'd paid the £4 delivery and had it sent to my house instead. Incompetent idiots don't use.
