Fantastic business to deal with. Paul, owner was very professional. Paul came and measured my stairs for me, which another branch refused to do. On the day of fitting the fitters Stuart and Richard were also very professional. They worked none stop and were very careful to make sure everything was correct in the fitting. They even cleaned up after them selves. What a fantastic experience from start to finish. Definatley recommend Frank's The Flooring Store Crook. Thank you to everyone involved.

Really good choice of carpets, hard flooring and even grass! Excellent customer service. Fitting arranged quickly, arrived on time and great job. Very pleased.

Visited Franks carpets at Crook ordered carpet and Tredaire red underlay carpet to be fitted today. Fitters arrived to do the job I questioned about the underlay was told it was Duralay but was the same as Tredaire I rang the person who dealt with me at Crook not a nice person he said he couldn’t supply the Tredaire so supplied a cheap underlay and possibly should have informed me yet I spoke to him on the Thursday he never mentioned the underlay was not available I would have waited another week if he had informed me earlier. I feel this person cheated me over price I paid when sending inferior quality underlay it is half the thickness than I asked for. After battling with him over this issue he refunded most of the cost of underlay. I’m left wondering if this was a way of making money from it to. Feel disgusted both this and supplying inferior product to a pensioner. If this is the way Franks Carpets deal with customers be very wary. The Photo shows the rubbish underlay that was supplied which was for underfloor heating, half the depth of the Tredaire red I was supposed to be supplied with. Definitely a shop to avoid. Today 28/0324 was asked by trust pilot that Franks Carpets were asking for further details. I said o had phoned and emailed about the problem at the Crook branch spoke to a lady at the Bishop branch I asked to speak to the manager she said she would investigate my complaint then had a phone call from the person I dealt with at the Crook branch the most obnoxious aggressive man I have ever spoke to he said he couldn’t care less about reviews which must be the standard of the service he gives. Then had a phone call from a manager at Bishop Auckland branch to tell me there’s nothing they can do. Avoid this Company

Couldn't believe this. Went into the shop yesterday, I was looking at offcuts the salesman was chatting to a lady and her son. They couldn't help her with her needs she asked if there were any other carpet shops in crook. She asked where it was he gave her a vague idea. Then told her they only sell odds and ends. And that she should go to bishop auckland. No one like a liar.!!!

Poor customer care stood 20 mins waiting for guy to finish whatever it was he was doing no hello or I'll be just a sec nothing get to speak to him regarding a full house of carpet and vinyl for him to say oh I dunno I'm the wrong guy to speak to I don't know what's what only wanted a price for a full house! =/

Spoke to John Plant,absolute sleaze bag and incredibly patronizing. Took my business elsewhere. Disgusting
