I recently needed replacement parts for my stove. Manufacturers quoted me 60 days!!!! Defty's got it for me the next day!! Great team! Lively and sociable, very knowledgeable too. I've since gone back and ordered the rest I need! Well done Louise!.

Brilliant old fashioned and traditional hardware shop.
Knowledgeable staff who can find you almost anything you require. If you just want half a dozen screws then that's all you need to buy, not packets of hundreds like the big DIY stores.

Last of the old ironmongers shops got everything and able to buy what amount you need great helpful staff recommend highly

Deftys is like an Alladins Cave. For DIY and gardening, they will as like as not have it, along with experience and advice. Always a joy to go there.

Wonderful gem of a shop. How they should be. Helpful owners, nearly always have what you want and service with a smile. How a hardware shop used to be and a credit to the town.

Fab hardwear shop. Always get what I need. It's how Shopping use to be and good friendly service. We should use these little shops instead of throwing mega pounds in the DIY stores.

Great shop, everything you need and more, used to shop here regularly when my wife Angie was manageress of Peter's the Bakers just around the corner.

Helped out with our skirting board today as we tried to free hand a mitre cut with epic failure.sorted it out with no extra cost..thanks for the friendly service we will defo be back again
