Big car park with disabled spaces and wheelchair accessible entrance.
The store is quite open, airy, and is clean and well laid out inside.
Lots of products, excellent variety of fruit and veg, plus dry goods, tinned stuff, drinks, etc.
Prices are rising, as they are everywhere, but still more reasonable than in some other shops.
Helpful and friendly member of staff at the checkout too. 👌

Fruit and vegetables are always very fresh. They sell sugar free sweets that are hard to find anywhere else, and polite and helpful staff.

Excellent shop. Love the food for sale.

Best Aldi I have ever shopped in, absolutely brilliant.

Good prices and choice of fruit and vegetables as well as chilled and frozen food. Nice wide Isles. Till area for loading not great but OK if you use the trolley and pack afterwards
Updated June 2023, Newtown powys store still good value and choice with good stock levels, better than ALDI Welshpool.

Been here a few times and always a great place to shop. Whizz around quickly good air con during hot weather. Spacious and good range of products at reasonable prices. Always space to park and service is quick and efficient, just as I like it.

Newtown Aldi is a spacious store.
Has their new chilled cabinets with doors to save energy.
Wider aisles too.

Wouldn't shop anywhere else very friendly helpful staff.. gr8 quality in all their products and by far the CHEAPEST supermarket and in the financial world very much needed to save pennies and pounds on everyday shopping well done Aldi and all of their work force

This is one of the newest Aldi which has more space inside and more variety on offer! Well done Aldi for making this improvement... Also, love shopping at these stores and a bonus was Morrison was next door if you need anything extra..

Nice clean, new store. Very similar to the Lidl we already have in town, with many of the products obviously coming from the same producer. Prices were good and their gourmet burgers were delicious.

Follws Aldi business models to the point of robot staff. So busy having orders barked in their ears by plastic ear peices and cut off from customers. So no inter action with customers can take place. To the point of you being told the amount to pay. Cut off mid sentence while you stand their. And person on till sorts out problems elsewhere in the store. So you have to wait and everyone else's shopping stops. Longest waiting time for us was 5 minutes 😫 while staff rota was reorganised!. And while we stood their the queue moved to another till. Same thing happened to them while the two on the tills now talked to each other via head prices shop stopped while conversations continude. The were only three feet apart they could of spoken to each other. But no Aldi as turned them Into robot zombies no help no speaking none reacting autonomous slaves (Robot) they are there but not allowed to be there. No use when you need help or new store and can't use or understand layout or have I.E. disabilities sight loss for one you cannot see the staff are not being ignorant because you can't tell if the other person they are talking to is there or not. Then you put everything behind glass what idiots came up with this. Try using your hand ✋ touch to find different types of food item's. Only to reach out and hit glass barriers to your world in place .

Not been a fan in the past but just about fed up with Lidl not having what we want in, so tried here tonight and saved ourselves £10 on our usual shop, well recommended now.

First time to Newtown Aldi, very clean and tidy compared to Other Aldi's. Liked that chilled etc were behind screen. Well laid out.

Always a good shop, rarely go anywhere else. You can be sure of a fare price.
