I didn't feel welcome at all. The man behind the counter was very abrupt and couldn't give a dam. The store is quite small and the aisles are narrow. Prices about average for a Premier store. Not used the post office for years, so can't comment.

Avoid! They completely ignore the Royal Mail's operating times. The marked drop-off point ignored by staff, the man said he didn't care what the official website states was.
