I'm pretty certain that there has been a WH Smith in this centre since it opened in the early 80s, although I think it used to be in a different place perhaps where Starbucks is now.

Anyway, if you're after newspapers, magazines, other periodicals, art supplies, school supplies, stationery, cards or all manner of other paper and paper related products, this is really the best/only place in the high street. Luckily, whilst not especially cheap compared to what you could get online, Smiths has stock variety, availablity AND accessibility on its side. I used to be a bit naughty and read quite a few magazines without buying.... but nowadays I of course simply read stuff online.

Tldr
If you need stuff quickly and can't wait next day, this is always a good option.
